
I had been going to the gym for multiple years, but recently decided to quit going here. The owners preach positive energy which is amazing, however the people within the gym pray on others downfalls and give negative energy, I was assaulted at One Up Gym back in January by a member, was almost assaulted a second time for turning down the music. This gym is family oriented but if you’re not apart of the family you will be treated like an outsider and they will push you away. The gym doesn’t have too much equipment, but it does have enough to get you by, however your local planet fitness might be better for a good leg day. Lastly it’s not a big deal that athletes use gear in my opinion but it did make me very uncomfortable knowing that athletes lied about being natural. You can workout in every way from cross training to power lifting to flipping tractor tires and all things in between.The only thing stopping you is fear.
