Handel’s Ice Cream — Restaurant in Little Elm

Went last night for the first time. Very stops when you walk in, no crowding while deciding what you want to order. Lots of pictures of some of the different flavors they offer, cone and cup sizes right up front so you know what you are getting when you order, although my daughter ordered a chip with two scoops and it was very tiny. She looked disappointed at first. I’m sure we could have asked them for more scoops if I thought she really wanted more. She got the Fourth of July special, she said she didn’t taste the pop rocks. But she liked it. I got the banana cream pie in a sugar cone. It really tasted like the pie. It even had chunks of bananas in it. It had three scoops which was just enough for me. I was able to eat it before it started melting down the cone and making a giant mess. My husband got strawberry in a waffle cone. He said it was very flavorful but didn’t have any chunks of strawberry in it. They had benches but only two tables. It worked really well. When we arrived there was an employee outside cleaning the benches with a spray and I noticed they had a water bowl for doggies. Can’t wait...

This ice cream shop, located in a accessible shopping center, has a colorful and welcoming atmosphere. You have so many flavors to choose from.

First of all, Handel's lets you try unlimited flavors. My favorite is cookies & cream, but my friend likes mint chocolate chip. You really can't go wrong.

Secondly, there is a patio where you can sit with your friends. It's nice to have a place to sit outdoors while eating your cold ice cream.

Finally, the staff is overly polite. They give suggestions on good flavors. They are excited to take your order instead of some places who have employees who aren't very happy. They always say things like, "Good choice!"

This was our 1st time visiting the place. We reached the store about 20mins before their closing time. The staff was quick to welcome us and suggest their best-selling flavors. They even offered to have us taste test any flavors , if we liked. We chose our flavors , paid and left. It's a very seamless and no-fuss process with the cutest and friendliest staff behind the counter. And OMG , their ice-cream is sooooo good !!!!

I cut the 1-star out of their rating because at the time we entered the store , it seemed like the staff had already started their cleaning process and the store smelled heavily of cleaning chemicals which kind-of created a very unappealing atmosphere. The polite staff and the delicious ice-cream saved it though. We will definitely be back , this time maybe , we will try to drop in way earlier than their...
