Was checking for new places in the area and was excited to see that a new Chinese restaurant had opened up last week! Restaurant decor is beautiful and modern. Very pretty inside! Service was okay. They passed my water test but had to flag them down a few times for things like hot oil, check, and to go boxes. Also the server asked us for a side to go along with one of the dishes and that we could get white rice, fried rice or lo mein... without specifying lo mein was an extra charge. Generally still going through learning pains. Food was a bit disappointing for the price and quality. They still need some quality control on their buns. The biggest issue is that we ended up getting raw pork buns accidentally and I didn't notice until I had already taken a bite and swallowed. + Lo mein was great... Just which I knew there was an extra charge. + Singapore noodles with shrimp were good + Green beans were good + Crazy salmon roll was good - Pan fried pork bao had a nice crisp on the bottom but was raw inside... Unfortunately only realized after the first bite. They apologized and remade it but frankly even the ones after could've still been steamed for another few minutes. - Xiao long bao was like the pan fried pork bao, just steamed instead. Not the thin skinned soup dumpling style that we're used to. Frustrating part was I asked the server if it was thin or puffy before just in case but clearly she didn't know. This restaurant definitely has potential, just clearly still going through some learning pains... As is my tummy from that raw meat!

I ordered takeout because I wanted to get a taste of their food... It took only 15 mins for them to get my order ready, I was impressed by that because when you order online it doesn't state how long it will take to get your order, it just says that they received your order. As far as the ambience goes, I was able to see only as I walked in, it's nice and very fancy. Next time, I will actually go in and dine in, then I'll update my review. —--—--------------— Update: We went and dined in, and to be truly honest, I would rather order out. It's a preference for me because I don't really like a few things: the seating was uncomfortable, the lighting was a little too bright, the temperature was set to very cold... On the other hand, the service was so-so. The young woman who served us seemed to be too active doing random things besides serving and it seemed to us that she was ignoring us at times when we were ready to order and when we were ready to pay... The food is definitely delicious and fresh, but I was disappointed with my Natalie's Favorite dish, which was a vegetarian dinner made of tofu and an assortment of fresh vegetables according to the description. It was more tofu than vegetables, and I was really expecting to see a lot of veggies since it stated it had carrots, broccoli, snow peas, mushrooms and I believe also water chestnuts in a brown sauce... I just feel a bit robbed by the veggie part of it...

A great addition to Little Elm dining, Tj Golden Bowl. The restaurant is decorated nicely with comfortable booth seating. The service was good and staff were courteous. My bowl for Egg Drop Soup was cool to the touch on the outside and the soup stayed hot on the inside. It was also a generous portion size of Egg Drop Soup. I had the King Pao Chicken which totally rocked! She had the Combination Fried Rice and enjoyed it as well. We had enough to take home a doggy bag too. Tj Golden Bowl is a great place for Chinese cuisine in Little Elm. There is more on the menu for us to try, so we will definitely visit again.

I ordered delivery and arrived still very hot and in a very nice foil lined delivery bag. The person who delivered the food was nice and delivered it with care. The dumplings were exceptional and clearly hand crafted with care. Highly recommend if nothing else than just for their divine dumplings. The sunshine sushi roll was also delicious and well made as was the beef and broccoli dish. The wonton soup was a bit thin and light but still had flavor, it is probably better as an after dish to help clear the palate. The shrimp tempura was tasty and still crunchy even though it was delivery which often can cause fried food to lose its crunch and it was very well seasoned and cooked just right.

All in all, I highly recommend this place and it's an amazing choice for delivery. It felt like I got my food fresh from the kitchen,...
