My husband and I thought we'd try this for brunch. We arrived at 11:30AM and there was plenty of parking spaces available on this Tuesday. They have some great specials for brunch. We listened to some ZZ Top and Beasty Boys music cranking from the speakers while we checked out the menus. I chose the Eggs Benedict with crispy hashbrowns and my husband ordered the Migas. The eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly! I would however prefer them atop a crispy English muffin over the pancake. While the hashbrowns were crispy on the outside as requested, somehow the potatoes were undercooked in the inside. My husband loved his migas and said that it had just the right amount of heat. For grins, we tried the buttermilk pancake with bananas. The pancake was Huge! The bananas were not as you can see from the picture, as fresh and should not have been served. The replacement bananas were no better and taken away. The coffee was great with the tiny little Mason- like jar they provide creamer in. My favorite was the freshly squeezed orange juice. I think we'll come back again sometime and try other items in the menu. The lunch crowd started coming in as we...
Read moreFirst time going. It's bright big and plenty of seating. The atmosphere is nice. Our server I think was pretty new as she was unattentive, didn't get any straws until 2nd time asked and didnt get any silverware until the food was brought but only one set was given. Had to ask for a refill, and we could overhear our waitress chatting with the table next to us about her life while we waited for a simple request. Jordan was another waitresses who happened to stop by she was very pleasant and appeared to be seasoned as she knew what to ask and was prompt in bringing items. The food was decent, pretty inexpensive compared to the other breakfast joints around and their pancakes as seriously Texas size. I'd probably return and give them another try they have other...
Read moreI just discovered this little gem. Friendly service that checks on you just enough to meet your needs but not too much to be annoying. I met a couple of friends for a late breakfast and we stayed a while to catch up and chat. Not once did we ever get that "you have over stayed your welcome" feeling from the staff.
The place was busy but no wait and enough tables to accommodate everyone who stopped by on a Saturday morning for breakfast or early lunch.
The cafe was well laid out, clean, well lit and felt comfortable. The food came out surprisingly quick and was very good. They even go so far as to serve the syrup warmed up for you. A very nice touch that makes it a step ahead from your average breakfast stop.
Like I said, this place is a gem worth a...
