I was running across the street despite being on a painted pedestrian walk and having the right of way. Really because I was headed to barbecue and also because Memphis drivers are scary. My shorts, too large for my apparently shrunken hips (must be the active lifestyle, hey now!), requires my hands to hold them up if I run for more than a few seconds.
