Ollie's Bargain Outlet — Attraction in Lockport

We went to check out Ollie's because I've heard it was great. NOT impressed. The store is very cluttered, messy and some aisles not accessible via wheelchair. The most inviting section was the very large and nice set up was the books. The washroom was extremely disappointing! 1 stalls of 4 had toilet paper and no napkins to dry my hands. There were 4 caution signs for apparently no reason. Super drab & didn't look like it had been painted from the previous Big Lots.

Only 2 associates working the store and both running 1 register. We did purchase a few items because we hadn't seen them elsewhere. I let the cashier know the washroom needed some attention as no paper products and it was said they couldn't get to it because they were the only 2 there 😯The associate asked if we wanted to give our email for the sales adds; when we said no she was surprised & no further comment. Went to Ollie's for the first time and was impressed! Lots of items to choose from. Staff was polite, and one girl even helped me find what I was looking for! I read the reviews, and their are lots of complaints about staff and the store. I just want to say THAN YOU to the staff because they may not be the nicest as some say, but at least they showed up to work. Some are young and may be learning new skills and work ethics. Went into the Ollies just to look around and while I was in there an employee named Sue was extremely rude to me and my mom. Had accidentally stepped in front of her while she was coming down an isle to stock a shelf and instead of saying excuse me or waiting for me to move she almost knocked me and my mom down. Ignored me and my mom when I said something to her about it. Just very rude and unpleasant obviously didn’t mean to step in front of you doing your job but you do not have to act like that.
