Jubilee has a great selection of second hand furniture (especially since many second hand stores sell less and less furniture). The Roosevelt store is even offering clothes and shoes now. I also appreciate that they are raising money for a non-profit. HOWEVER, unlike a few other reviewers, I have found many of their pieces to be far overpriced for a resale store raising money for a nonprofit. If the item is considered "vintage" or "midcentury," jubilee seems to price the furniture comparable to what you could find at a Chicago vintage reseller or online on Chairish or other high-end designer midcentury websites. I used to be able to find some very cool midcentury furniture here as someone who can't afford reseller prices. But at some point, jubillee seems to have become just another vintage reseller store. Even though the furniture is used. Most of it is in great condition and there are some incredible deals to be found. Its layout is not like a thrift store where everything isin a pile, it looks like a normal furniture store.
