Yes, unfortunately this beach isn't the most pleasant spot and I'd personally pick a different one to spend my day on. Back to the lifeguard tower though - it's fun, well-preserved. Nice to stop by for a quick photo op.

A very relaxing beach - open to the public but feels like it’s private with how few people use this space - it’s nice to watch the container ships and sailboats and jet skis zip around all weekend - about a mile and a half from the pier and 2/3 mile walk to Gaucho’s. Great spot for large meet ups and family fun.

The tower is nice but the beach is really bad, the water is full of trash which piles up on the sand and it’s a terrible spot for relaxing and swimming. You’re much better off driving an extra couple miles south because once you see the water here you’ll want to...
