Broadway Donuts — Restaurant in Long Beach

Husband would frequent Broadway Donuts when he was working in DT Long Beach for years. But since his office move in 2019, he finally made it back today with me! Yay.

He always raved about the coffee. And he was right! Today I had the Hawaiian Hazelnut, and he had the Cinnamon Hazelnut. wow, it IS good! we both had it with half and half. Just the right amount and this paired well with the Turkey cheese croissant and donut.

The plain donut, husband ate it so fast I didn't get to taste it. next time, I will.

The turkey and cheese croissant is so good, warmed. The croissant is so big fluff and thick.

So glad we ordered a couple plain croissants to-go for the freezer. (croissants usually freeze very well) And we got a jalapeno ham and cheese croissant waiting for us too. I have zero doubt this is good too!!

Wonderfull little place with quite a surprising amount of coffee roasts and an enormous amount of creamers to choose from nice selection of donuts which I might add were apparently awarded best in by acreddited longbeach review they even have a choice of vegan doughnuts the staff is always cheery and much more awake than I no matter the time speaking of they open quite early around 4 am if I remember correctly set in a decent side of long beach nestled on a corner seems to have a quite abundant of regulars and if the people keep coming thats a great sign just by observational standards id reccomend anyone to check out this place they are much more than doughnuts its a place you can welcome your morning they close around 12 or 1 pm so be sure to check it out its easily said...

On the morning of Dec 7th, Sunday I went to buy a dozen doughnuts & some Arizona Teas for my friends & I who was participating in the Wilmington Xmas parade.. As I stood in line, ready to pay, I over heard, they only take "CASH" I froze bc I didnt have cash!!! I only had "card" I apologized to the lady that had my order boxed up.. The lady told me "YOU TAKE, COME BACK TOMORROW & PAY" I was like.... really?? It was $14.75 but I felt kinda weird walking out with out paying. Again she said "COME BACK TOMORROW" I was blown away!! I told my friends what had happened & they were "shocked" like me. Next next day, I went back to pay, she couldnt remember me but I told her "YES" I owe you money" She smiled as I bought more doughnuts. I will always go back to...
