i'd known the hare had been in the process of opening, but finally got a chance on a random thursday to come in and check it out. firstly, the space is so cozy! i happened to come in on a quiet evening, but there's enough space and seating to make it comfortable if it were to get crowded. i ordered a basil gimlet with mezcal, and it was soo tasty and well made - perfectly alcoholic, and not at all diluted. the pizza is thin crust and crispy, so it holds it shape and doesnt get soggy - not that i dont mind a messy pizza sometimes! i had the burrata pizza, and i loved the sauce on it: thinner and savory rather than thick and sweet. the bartender and company were very kind and courteous, and i'm looking forward to coming by more often! wild that this place got...

This pub is just what the neighborhood needed! - It is welcoming and inclusive. I happened in during their soft opening, and it is amazing how much they were able to update the space and building in just one week after taking it over. The drinks were great - they are not shy to pour - and they were serving pizza from their oven. (I have been back three times just for a slice of pizza and a Caesar's salad and a cocktail while bar hopping in the area. The staff is super friendly! If you plan to bar hop and stop in this place, you’re not bar hopping anymore, this place has got the whole vibe, you will finish your night here. Love how spacious it is, they have a pool table and DJs pop in for special events.
