Wilson Park — Attraction in Long Beach

Very friendly neighborhood park, 360° surveillance💪 great and safe for kids along with a parent of course. There's a basketball gym thats usually open, they have stocked restrooms inside with mirrors and multiple stalls. It has a skate park, which is pretty popular and iconic to mainstream skateboard brands with an interest in sponsoring Compton youth talent. There's also workout equipment! There's an indoor basketball court and drinking fountain. The basketball court is open Monday through Friday from about 10AM and 3PM.There's a small skate park outdoors (approximately 140 feet by 160 feet). There's a nice children's playground that can accommodate about 40 kids. The entire park is within a street block in your average suburb. Good place to have a BBQ and bring the kids. I don't know if Compton is as bad as it's reputation suggests but I didn't hang around too long to find out. The park itself is a little dated but it has enough of the basics to keep everyone happy. Hip, euro gap, ledges and rails. The bowl looked good also.
