Went for lunch. Quinta Real Restaurant is located within the Quinta Real Hotel.
The setting is beautiful, tables with white linen tablecloths in a terrace surrounding an inner courtyard of a historical building.
We had margaritas to start which were excellent 99 pesos each. One had fettucine with tomato and shrimps 210 oesos and the other had cheeseboard 165 pesos.
The pasta was excellent, the cheeseboard was huge with many different cheeses – I had to ask neighbouring friends to help me out to finish it all !!
We had a bottle of excellent Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon red wine and sparkling waters. The bill for two including the drinks came to 1650 pesos equivalent to about 80 US dollars.
