Jackson Woods is 13 acre wetlands park designated for passive recreation... it is a work in progress, a partnership between the city and community residents ... please consider a tax deductible donation to the park through the Monmouth Conservation Foundation. Donations can be made online or by sending to Monmouth Conservation Foundation, PO Box 4150, Middletown , NJ 07748 The Friends of Jackson Woods have planted over 15,000 daffodils throughout the park , held many community cleanup days, and are looking to create bee and butterfly pollinator gardens, add sculptures and park benches, and create a serene atmosphere where nature , the arts and Long Branch history thrive.

Not a great spot- thorns, misquitos, ticks, deer Majority of it is brush and thorns. They are trying to make it better by adding these cool little art pieces and they are cutting down little by little and it could be really cool, but it still sucks. There’s lots of deer and lots of ticks and mosquitos which come from all that nasty swamp like brush in the middle If they ever just cut down all that thorns and brush, even half of it just the stuff in the middle, they would have some really nice trails but until then I would skip this place.
