The aesthetic is masculine, rugged yet breathtakingly gorgeous but the unforgiving landscape & curse of the Pinwot will bring you to your knees & make you face everything you were running from in life. Read moreLongmont is a beautiful little town with plenty to do. Anyone who says otherwise is simply being a curmudgeon. Just IGNORE the haters. They obviously never spend any time here or are haters from other towns who already look "down" on Longmont. We moved here from TN a few years back, moved downtown across from Roosevelt Park and couldn't be happier. Besides the utter, natural beauty of Mt. Meeker and Longs Peak visible from almost everywhere, there are cute little shops and fun activities to do all the time. And the parks are super clean and lush. Sure, the town closes down by 9 p.m. so it's definitely a daytime town, but there is plenty to enjoy in the evenings during festival season as well. I love it...
