My friend took me in the store to shop around Christmas. It ended up that the owner overcharged me and made excuses why she couldn’t give me a receipt at the time such as the Square being unplugged and said that I’d get a receipt on my phone, which I never did. There wasn’t a way to see the prices she was ringing me up, plus I put back a couple items. I should’ve been more careful and questioned each item when the owner gave me the total amount to put on my card which was a little over $130. My friend got an item from Turkey that was priced $25, but the owner tried to charge $45. My neighbor questioned her and got the $25. A couple days later, my friend went back to store when someone else was working and got receipts for us both. It was clear that I was overcharged, but I decided to let it go. Wanted to love this store, unfortunately won’t happen. Nice support by owner for their vendors and was friendly enough. Was told that the price on an item could only be lowered minimally due to it being solid wood and unique. Bought it and when went to refinish discovered the sides (and top) were made of particle board which suffered under the sander.
