Colorado Dumplings — Restaurant in Longmont

**Stand corrected as the owner said the dumplings were steamed and not reheated. As an asian I would believed so as i would usually do the same. And to reply on the waiting time. It was more than 15 minutes, maybe 20 give and take. Not too bad for a small dumpling outlet to eat in or take out. Everyone already explained where this outlet is, therefore I would just as usual jump straight into food reviews. The dumpling skin and fillings are the same, thickness and filling perfect. Of cos the dumplings are frozen and therefore be prepared for the wait while they need to steaming the dumplings. To my personal experience today. It took quite awhile for the food to arrive but luckily there are stores in the surrounding to browse and waste time. And even after the waiting I reckoned it still wasn't soft enough for the dumpling skins. A little disappointed there. After all the waiting the dumpling wasn't hot enough it was just room temperature. But, then again. The fillings were very delicious. We finished the beef and the chicken while struggling on the vegetables dumpling. Maybe it was my taste buds (just like people with cilatro) something in the filling wasn't quite right for me. The star of the dumpling lays in the sauce.. Teseame sauce?! That flavour is so distinct that it tasted like a mild flavour of lentil curry mixed with other flavour of sesame, and lemongrassy. It is so unique and when you added the peanut & cashew plus fire in the hole sauce everything blended in perfectly just to flavour the dumplings yet not taking the original flavour away of the dumplings. We do need some good dumplings in Longmont and this does fit it nicely at the main street area. Hopefully they do get...

Absolutely delicious! Super filling, great price, amazing sauce. I always love finding hole-in-the-wall gems around town, and this place is no different. They offer three types of dumplings: beef, chicken, and vegetable. I decided to try chicken and beef. First of all, I didn't realize they would be so huge! I had trouble finishing my plate and had to recruit my dad to finish it for me! The sauce the dumplings are served with are immaculate, and then you get a small container of a spicy sauce and a peanut sauce on the side. The fillings themselves are delicious! Tucked inside the Old Town Marketplace is my new favorite spot to grab lunch. Kaal’s Colorado Dumplings are seriously next level—savory, satisfying, and full of flavor! I always go for the veggie dumplings, and they never disappoint. The combo of that fresh peanut sauce and just the right kick of heat from the already saucy dumplings makes every bite perfect. It’s exciting to taste something so unique and delicious right here in Longmont.
