AMC Marina Marketplace 6 — Attraction in Los Angeles

Way to go AMC Marina Marketplace 6 ! ! This theater DID NOT disappoint us at all. We went to watch Super Mario Bros. here and our showing was in Theater #3. Super comfy seats that didn’t seem to squeak whenever you rocked in it - which is super fantastic! ! ! Unlike a lot of theaters - the actual floor WAS NOT sticky whatsoever. The entire theater was SUPER CLEAN and the Mens Restroom was also super clean…..other reviewers seemed to have an issue with the Restrooms so I was on “high alert” when having to use them. THE ONLY issue (which was resolved once the actual film starts) was the seemingly endless commercials and previews in LESS THAN DIGITAL picture quality…..they literally looked like TV once did before things went HD ……so you kind of spend the first 30 minutes before the movie starts asking yourself if the film itself will be in such not so current picture quality. But yes, once the lights fully dimmed and the film started - all of my 30 minutes of worrying was put to rest. The Sound system didn’t seem to have the very low end boominess of a much larger theater (think high quality Subwoofers), but it was ample for the film we watched. As others have mentioned….wayyyyyy too many food spots in the immediate area around the Theater so food choices before/after a film are endless. Thanks AMC Marina Marketplace 6- you showed myself and our 2 little guys a good time ! ! !

I recently watched “Next Goal Wins” with both my mother on her birthday and my cousin, and the movie proved to be a delightful experience for all of us.

This theater is located in a shopping center adjacent to a Fatburger Restaurant. I don't live in this area, I was visiting, and two senior tickets for the hate U give were $22 and I think that's probably higher than around where I live in the Seattle area. That aside these were some of the most comfortable chairs that I've ever sat in a movie theater. It was nowhere near capacity in the theater so we were able to put our belongings on the chairs next to us and didn't have to set them on the floor so that was nice. The thing I'm always amazed at in theaters is the price of the concessions. You can easily pay twice the price of your ticket to get popcorn and a drink and that just seems unreasonable but I realize that this is not different at this particular theater than others. They do have an interest in plan they're offering at all AMC Theaters apparently where you can see three movies a month for $19.99 on a subscription basis. It's worth considering if the theater near you is like this or if this is your theater because it's comfortable it's clean and the parking is plentiful in the...
