Can't fathom how this place is supposedly about fashion, yet the buyers have no fashion sense or knowledge of fashion labels and trends. I brought in a bag of items including a Jack Spade gray Henley, an OH x Dawn navy blue hoodie, PAM & GELA fatigue jacket, Free People oversized short-sleeved blouse, Rag n Bone sheer silk blouse. All items were in excellent condition and had been cleaned and prepared to sell. I asked one manager where are all the high end items like Gucci, or even Supreme, Allsaints etc. I was told that they don't carry those anymore because no one wants to sell them that stuff because the payout is too low. They don't even have high end items, yet they pass on nice sought after labels/styles. Their racks are full of junk and fillers. I left to go feed the meter. As soon as I walk back into the store, the buyer pulls my bag from behind the counter and hands it back and says "sorry we didn't see anything". They literally didn't even look at my items. I've heard horrible things about this place and that's why I've avoided it for years. How is this place still in business.?

Accessibility: there is no parking lot specifically for this place, so that already makes it challenging to get here. Once you get onto the sidewalk, the door to enter is a single pull door, and the isles inside the store are a little tight. The changing rooms to try things on are also too small and don't have seating. These are the reasons for 4 out of 5 stars. Experience: there was one male employee who was super friendly here, and I found a shirt I liked and bought. Everything is fairly priced for LA standards, but still expensive for a broke San Diego person like me, LOL. One shirt cost 18 dollars.

I hate to give this storee this rating because it seems like MOST of the employees there are super awesome helpful and friendly - then there is the one who I can only assume is the manager, because if there were anybody above her that saw how she treated and interacted with the customers, she would still be working there, guaranteed.

First visit to this store I fell in love with it immediately, I love the inventory the staff seemed awesome and the ,, gave me very reasonable offers for the items I sold them. Granted, the one I'm referring to wasn't there that time.

Fast forward, my next visit I walked into the store and I can already feel a heaviness and a chill in the air, the atmosphere was totally different and the vibe was totally different.. my walk over to the sellers table and out quite literally runs this highly over caffeinated dark-haired woman who slightly resembled Katy Perry after a particularly long meth run with an affect to match.

She was bossy and snarky from the beginning, didn't even look at 90% what I brought in and way low-balled me funny things that she did take. The vibe she gave was a very dismissive one that seemed to give off the "get out of my store you're interrupting my micromanaging" vibe. I gave it the benefit of the doubt that was a one-off fluke - although in hindsight, I do remember getting the feeling that the employees where in lower spirits at night and there was a very repressive about the store...

I came back a third time, about a half hour before they closed, and "Crystal Katie" (I don't know her actual name) quite literally shooed me away because they were "closing soon," (in 30 minutes??? IDK when I've ever spent more than 30 minutes shopping in a store that size!) . I don't want to have to drive out to Santa Monica or Sherman oaks as it's about 10 miles closer than either of those two, but I might do just that next time to see if I have any better of an experience. Again this is really sad because if I were basing this review off my first visit, it would be like a 10/5....

She is that toxic, whatever...

So after reading th ereviews here on google i was a bit skeptical of my first visit, yet i like to form my own opinions so i drove an hour out to the LA location. I wanted to experience buying and selling so i took a bag and a few boxes of unused shoes. The staff was very friendly no compaints there. They only took 3 of my items, which didnt bug me because they would be donated anyways. Although in my opinion the clothes i brought were a bit more trendy then what they had to offer. The girl had told me they like band shirts, no crop tops, and the brand new boots i brought were out of season and its fall. But okay no hard feelings i just felt they could use the stuff. Next i went on to my buying experience, I found a few coats that were decent and some cute sweaters, but shoes were too warn for a store like that and so were belts, and half of the things in there arnt selling because no one would even buy them from a thrift store for a buck, I used my store credit to get a coat which the cashier forgot to take the security tag off and im not going to drive an hour back...but i will figure it out. Without being rude my official opinion is the staff are all alike, dress pretty out there, not a bad thing but they need diversity, if you hire people with all the same interest then you will have clothes that lack diversity and style. When she said they tend to buy what they will sell i looked around to notice that the store was overflowing with items that probably will never be purchased because they are too warn and overpriced at the same time and because they regulars are similar to their style and not diverse for the jocks, pretty girls, nerds, vintage, sports, people this is due to lack of diversity so that more walks of life will see the window and be enticed to walk in and buy more then what they are tryouts ng to sell. In my opionon its a great idea but ideas only work when well organized and planned. I give it a 3 for this reason. I wouldnt drive an hour back but I would go again if they had one in the Monrovia or west covina areas...

0/10 experience. Will not ever come back to this location to sell. Hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Buffalo Exchange location. I had a selling appointment booked for 4:20, checked in and was told there was only one person ahead of me. Only to see 3 sellers taken ahead of me. Come to find out these sellers were “walk-ins”. I was not called to sell until 5:00pm. It really defeats the purpose of making an appointment if you’re not going to be able to sell at that time. After looking over my items for MAYBE 10 minutes. They only took 2 of my items offered me $6 in cash or $12 in store credit, and proceeded to tell me “we’ve gotten feedback from our customers saying they’d like to see less ‘fast fashion’ brands in store.” Okay…understandable, but the fact that they didn’t take some pieces I had like generic, but stylish sunglasses. As well as jeans that look generic brand-wise. Overall worst customer service experience and selling I’ve had in a long time and the clothing in their store is not even that fashionable to begin with. So definitely took a loss with claiming my in-store credit. Will not...
