...uuuuummm...The fact that a pink wall is a tourist attraction really confused me at first. Then again, I lived in the city of Los Angeles for 20 years, and once I accessed that data bank, I was on board. LOL! I'm not sure what they sell inside the store - I don't think anyone else is either. Like most people who go to the wall, we took photos there. I have to say that the pink color creates an incredible light and makes everyone look beautiful. I doubt I'll ever visit again, but wow, nice shots!! God Bless...

No cost to take pictures. The camera restriction others point out seems a little foreign to me, but it's understandable if it's to stop "professionals" from monopolizing the wall or doing photo shoots without paying the property owner. The person in the parking lot enforcing this is only sporadically there, and his presence was one of the reasons why I was a little sheepish of taking pictures cause I thought people seriously had to pay to stand in front of this...
Read moreI went to fashion school for a period of time. The very first lesson of the very first class was “everything in fashion is a lie”. The idea was basically that the designer who created the stupidest clothes and had the highest amount of sales was the premier fashion artiste. And the art was not the clothes but the lie and how well the “artist” sold it.
This is a bit similar. Cheap marketing gimmick, but plenty of people are sold.
