Read moreI recently coordinated a wedding at Cabrillo Beach Bathhouse, and it was a great experience. They have a large ballroom space, and you can secure the outside lawn - overlooking the beach and ocean! - for the ceremony. You can rent their metal chairs and 60" round tables or bring your own rentals. The staff was very responsive and accommodating before and during the wedding. If you have a beach ceremony, security is provided to watch over that area during the rental period, too. It is a city owned venue on a public beach, so there ARE restrictions: You have to bring in your own catering, there's no on-site kitchen, and you have to choose one of their approved bartending services. Cabrillo beach, and Cabrillo Marine Aquarium, and tide pools are my idea of paradise on earth. (Even though there is still a line to h get into The Port of Los Angeles lined up outside the harbor marked by Angel Gate Lighthouse (it looks like a thimble, but it’s 70’ tall.)
