Cabrillo Beach Pier — Attraction in Los Angeles

We maybe go 2-3 times a week. My borfriend on the other hand "lives there". I enjoy going because they have a beach side that has no waves. Theres a kids playground. An aquarium in the same location. I would give it 5 stars but the restrooms are always an issue with me. Its says they won't close until 10 but when I go to both (by the playgrounds) they are 93% of the time closed. Ive walked by around 4pm and their closed.. Oh but not the mens.!! Women have bladders too.!!!! 😒👊

*UPDATE its been 4 years since I made this review.. We still Love coming to this beach. We fish at the pier or depending the tide (how high it goes) you can even fish from the parking lot (before getting on to the pier..) You now have to pay at the entrance.. CARD ONLY.. $9 for whole day or can pay by the hour.. If you drive out (lets say to get some food or more ice; you WILL HAVE TO PAY ENTRANCE AGAIN.!!) No leaving and coming... Doesnt matter if you just got there and have over 8hrs of time left.. Will have to pay to come back in.. Parking is great, but can get full fast.. If full, they will close the entrance for people can't come in.. Boat docking has its own entrance/ parking (but can always use either entrance) they have showers. P.S. IF YOU ARE FISHING; FISHING GAME DOES STOP BY AND ASK FOR PROOF LICENSE.!!!

Love cabrillo it's a very unique place where you can do more then one activity in one place if you are outdoors man or outdoors woman like to enjoy outdoor sports I go surfing over here I go fishing over here at cabrillo or fishing pier as well Parking 1 dollar an hour or 10 dollars a day I believe using one of those machines near by the parking sometimes in the holidays parking is $15 a day no hourly parking on holidays They have Great 👍 life Guards and Rescue Team and medical response unit on site and local law enforcement are available so it's a safe place as well So if you like to jog or do some yoga or exercise or like to catch some waves or catch some fish 🐟🐠 or want to kayak or take your boat for a spin they got a ramp for that too 😉 Cabrillo beach is one of those underrated beaches when it's nicer and cleaner and much safer then Venice or...

Save your time. Go home. This place is disgusting. If you're going to try fishing bring at least three different fishing rods. The water is so ugly and filthy that there is no way that I would eat whatever I caught of that dirty water. I was simply toss the fish back in don't want it don't need it in that case I would rather go fishing elsewhere. If you have nothing to do and you want to stare at a dirty ocean come here stare at the people stare at the fish you catch cuz that's all you want to do here the water is so dirty. The location is ugly I don't like it I'm not a fan of this place at all. I don't want to return here...
