This is my go to massage spot! The main reason I keep coming back is because of the consistently great quality I receive. I love getting a deep tissue here - I feel great after and they really know how to work out all the kinks in my shoulders. I like a lot of pressure and I get it if I ask.

The owner is lovely and is super communicative, which makes booking a time to come in simple. She actually remembers her clients and makes you feel very welcome. I've had massages from a few of the other employees there and they're all great, so I don't have any particular recommendations by name.

The location is a little tough to find because the door is hard to see, but if you just remember that it's in the purple building that makes it easier. I can usually find free parking in the parking lot behind the place (it's a shared lot with the rest of the businesses that are in the purple building). If not, street parking is easy and it's metered. I think it's about a dollar for an hour.

The ambiance inside is welcoming and calming. There is usually mild, relaxing, music in the background. I like it because it isn't super loud or distracting.The lighting is dim. The place is cozy with private rooms and it's very charming. Most importantly for me, it's very clean.

During the massage itself, I feel like I can choose to be chatty or to just sit in the quiet and almost fall asleep depending on my mood! I don't like places where it feels awkward to talk or not talk, but I feel comfortable doing either here. The massage chairs themselves are amazingly plush and my head feels like it's on a pillow when I lay face down. Everything is clean and disposable.

Once you're done with your massage, there is a small waiting area with 2 lounge chairs for you to relax and drink water. The owner usually offers a piece of dark chocolate or sometimes even fruit.

Ana's services at Cinema wellness are simply one of the best treasures of silverlake and in Los Angeles for that matter. I go to her monthly sometimes twice per month(since I can't get enough) for facials, microdermabrasion and her stellar massages. I just feel incredible and rejuvenated after my appointments. My skin is glowing and it is just amazing! I cannot imagine life with going to her spa, she simply give the utmost attention to you and your skins needs and helps you figure out products to use depending on what your skin needs. For myself, I have incredibly sensitive and problematic skin, but since being Ana my skin has totally taken a turn for the very best it's ever looked. She introduced me to a new line of products that totally changed my skincare game and my life, she even told me how to choose different products depending on what time of year it was depending on the weather and when traveling what types of products to get to avoid breakouts and skin problems for my majorly sensitive skin. No esthetician has ever done this for me successfully, not even my countless dermatologists over the years. In combo with the new products I use and her microdermabrasion and facials, I have finally found the very best way to take care of my skin and I am so happy.

Ana's massages are also the best on earth - for men and women and would also recommend anyone that is athletic in any way as Anna has a way of getting to the core of tense tight muscles as well as any kind of more relaxing and therapeutic massage her spa is the place to be. I was searching for a specialist that had the experience to perform a post cosmetic procedure lymphatic drainage massage. I did a search and came up with this place located in silver lake. There was ample, free parking in the rear of the business which was great. When I walked into the business I was greeted by Ana at the door. Stepping into what I consider was like a spa like setting, tranquil and a sense of positive energy. I signed in, was given a pair of their house sandals and taken to a room. There I put my clothes in a basket, laid on the therapy bed and the magic started. From the first motions of her massage I felt very comfortable knowing she knew exactly what to do. After spending big money on my face and neck, I wanted to make sure I had someone that knew what they were doing. The lymphatic drainage massage on my face, abdomen, flanks, and lower back where I also had cosmetic procedure. Performed were relieved of the tension and hardness that you get after a procedure. Ana was able to actually form my body while performing the massage, which after a few sessions, I could totally tell the difference on the shape that I was expecting post procedure.
