Tacos Mexico Echo Park — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I grew up next to the restaurant on Olympic in ELA. We would buy up the whole meat supply on Taco Tuesdays. It still is the weekend hangout.

I wasn't sure why the owner of this place in Echo Park was saying that Taco Mexico has a bad wrap. She was begging for our approval.

We took our food to-go. It took about 20 minutes for them to make three tacos and a torta. After all that talking about how badly she needed business, I was shocked to see what she served us.

The tacos were almost meatless. The avocado on the torta was rotten. The meat tasted like it was marinated in vinegar (not a Mexican recipe).

Owner nice and attentive, I wish i could say the same about his young employee that didn't want to let me use the bathroom. When i asked him to switch my food to go, The owner apologized and let me use it. I was glad because i only stop at that place because i was hungry and needed to use the bathroom urgently and not having a bathroom available was kind a disappointment but I'm glad the owner was there to fix the problem. I just had dinner with my father and was completely blown away with how empty this place was. I ordered two carnitas tacos and two Al pastor tacos. The meat was very tender and the seasoning was so on point. My father ordered a torta and two carnitas tacos. With flavors like these I honestly have no idea as to why this place was so empty.
