Echo Park Branch Library — Attraction in Los Angeles

This library is a community safe space, with an emphasis on "community." It's convenient to a bus line, a DASH route, and the freeway, but is rarely busy and has a clean, laid-back environment. The staff is always attentive, friendly, and helpful. Whether you are looking for a specific book title or trying to find the closest [whatever specific, even mildly esoteric thing you need], they can hook you up with that information! I love this branch it’s bilingual and the people are very friendly. The services they provide are wonderful and I couldn’t be more grateful.

*After Renovations (June 2023) They’ve upgraded some aspects of the facility and as always their display cases are on point. They celebrate diverse history all over the Library and have a free book pile by the front door.

*Prior to Renovations They have closed without warning at times. If they can put a sign on the door I wish they would update their hours to reflect this closure on their online platforms. Especially when it lasts more than one day. CALL before you go here to make sure they aren’t closing...
