This review is kind of hard. Look the place is awesome! I love sitting in there and enjoying a meal maybe an agua fresca and some pan dulce (sweet bread) but!!! The food isn't that great really. Beans are a little on the blander side.. their chilaquiles are not the best.. sauce on both green and red are a little weak and not 100% sure but I think they use chips instead of freshly fried tortillas. Also quick note.. I think it's a little odd that they serve chilaquiles with a side salad. Regardless the place has this irresistible charm that keeps me going back. They're agua fresca selection is incredible and most of them taste amazing.. not overly sugary they feel very natural very refreshing. The bolio or pan frances (bauggetes) are incredible as well; they usually call out in the morning when it's about to come out fresh and you can tell people wait for that fresh batch. Back to the food though what keeps me coming back and as far as I know the best item I'm had on their menu is the tortas. Milanesa de pollo (chicken cutlet) torta is incredible! Remember how their beans are a little bland well they go perfectly in the torta, it has an incredible balance. My only quarell here is that they only give you one tiny 1oz sauce for the torta if you want extra it costs .50 cents but I ain't mad. Just to quickly touch on it.. staff is okay. They seem like they're there to do their job, but sometimes I do wish they have a better energy or presence I don't know.. Overall. Amazing place would definitely check it out. Not surprised that a lot of people consider this spot a...

My daugrher was telling me about the wrong owners attitude when it comes to be about a customer complaint. She has been a customer for many years and never complaint about anything but recently there been new incidents again were she happen to complaint finally about it because is not the first time to start with but yesterday she bought a salvadorian breackfast and they burn the fry bananas she could not eat that and so she call to let them.know. so she was offer to have a new breakfast when she gor to the bakery the owner refuse to give the entire breakfast the only thing ahe gave her was practicañly the fry bananas not burn anymore. Never apologize my daugrher told me that the last and right thing for her ro do was to give her thw entire breackfast with an apology. 3 weeks ago she had ask the owner about a tipical bread they do but the owners answer was very sarcastic. I feel for my daugther we are really good customers but from today on my daugther and i decide it never again to come and buy from her. She doesnt deserve to have customers like us neither she deserve to have a bussiness and treating customers that been supporting her bussiness the way she does She had totally forgotten that once she had nothing and now that she feels on top and important. She want ro treat people like whenwver. But we are done for good with her bussiness we should of have from the first time we saw roaches in her tamales.with all this been said. Hope anyone else that read this can think twice before buying from...

This is an incredibly delicious, authentic, no frills, non-pretentious, mom and pop type of panadería. They have a great mix of both Mexican and Salvadoran food options.

They have dozens of different types of pan dulce’s, and a large variety of juices, from fruit blends to veggie blends, to smoothies, fruit salads, shakes, and wellness shots like wheat grass and ginger shots, and more. it appears that the variety of bread and fresh juices are far wider on the weekends as that is a far busier time for them but I may be wrong.

The savory food is incredible. From pupusas to tacos, to tamales, burritos and entree sized meals. Breakfast (egg) and lunch/dinner meals.

The service is quick. Every time I’ve been, there has been a long line that gets in and out quick. The first time I visited, I almost left because how long the line was but it really only takes 5 mins or so. At least, that’s what it feels like. Everyone must wait in line. Even though who order over the phone. I like it imo because it’s again no frills, just come on for some great food, drinks, and coffee, enjoy. See you next time.

The prices are incredibly priced too, it’s so good to have places where people can visit and not break the bank but also enjoy authentic...

The owner Trinidad has retired after almost 40 years of making this bakery one of the most popular in LA. Often quoted in the press for having some of the best Latino breakfasts in the city and an abundance of choices in the panaderia section and the fresh squeezed juice and smoothie bars. Trinidad's daughter has worked her since she was a little girl and now runs the place with bravado. K Bakery is a gem and will no doubt stay so for decades to come. A customer for 35 years and will no doubt stay so for years to come.
