El Sereno Branch Library — Attraction in Los Angeles

I've lived in El Sereno well over fifty-years and I've gone to the old library's location...that library seemed old and run down and small so it was about time El Sereno added a new library...this library has a good selection of new books as well as some of the older stuff that probably made a move from the old library...it's always quiet but sometimes stuffy in here as the air-conditioner isn't always on, even in the cold months it's still warm and sometimes uncomfortable but that may just be me...the guy working the checkout desk is nice and gives good customer service, unlike some other libraries where the staff seems impolite and stuffy themselves...you can go here for the books or just to surf the Internet and you can spend a whole day here and immerse yourself with today's most popular...

I came here to get a LA public library card and Philip helped me for the registeration, anwsered all my questions about using the card to connect Gale to access the online courses, which is the reason I need a LAPL card. In and out less than 20 mins. Thanks for his help. Highly recommend this location...
