Nice park near Ventura Blvd. It was a bit smaller than I expected, but the grass was pleasantly green and not overgrown or weedy. The public restroom is kind of shady - like any public restroom in a park in Los Angeles I would always accompany my child, as weird things are going on in there and people seem to fall asleep unexpectedly. Family friendly, but there are the usual young folks with wafting clouds of fragrant smokes and vapours but they keep to themselves and there is enough space so that nobody has to breathe anyone...

Playground, monkey bars, sand park miniature skate/ scooter park, basketball court and a big green area where multiple barbecues could be going on at once. There's also a tennis court on one far end of the park and an elementary school across the street from another side. Would give the park five stars except from time to time it attracts the homeless and other strange characters I wouldn't want...
