If I could give a zero star for this location, I would do so because of the ongoing crime that has been happening there, and Equinox is keeping it a secret from the members and guests. My car was vandalized on June 15th, 2024, around 5 p.m. My designer bag, wallet, cash, sunglasses, watch, used my credit cards and bank card for thousands of dollars and business iPhone were stolen. The thief caused significant physical damage to my car as well. When the police arrived 3 hours later, I was told that vandalism had been happening often in the parking garage and that this was the 3rd call in 3 weeks they'd received for similar incidents at this location.
Later, I discovered that Equinox didnât even have cameras where I parked, and most of their garages don't. Seriously? I am paying a premium price for a luxury gym, and they choose not to have the added financial expense to enhance security measures that would protect their members. What a shame! This was and still is beyond upsetting because Equinox failed me and all the other members by not giving a warning about the ongoing incidents. This crime could have been prevented or avoided if Equinox had been transparent to their members and if there had been security patrolling the garage.
I have been an equinox member for almost 10 years and been going to this location for over 5 years and have never seen a security guard in the garage patrolling. This is most definitely an unsafe environment, that could have resulted in me being severly injured or killed had I returned to my car while the thief was breaking into it. I filed an incident report with Equinox and left it with the police report number, but the management never contacted me, and I had to go back there in person to demand answers. I also went to the security office and spoke with the manager on multiple occasions. Sadly, Equinox did not even tell them about my incident, and they confused me with the person whose car got vandalized a few days before mine. Baffled!
This incident has been an inconvenience with having to cancel accounts and credit cards, set up new ones, and get a new DL, freeze my credit, cancel an international trip.In addition to the thousands of dollars in losses from property theft, vandalism, and credit card fraud, this has caused me so much emotional distress and fear of being in my own home. The thief used my ID to find my home and attempted to enter my property, and they were caught on my surveillance camera. The thief used all my credit cards, which caused them to be frozen, and stole $3,670 in cash. I could not operate my business for days because they took my business phone. I had to close my personal and business accounts because I had a checkbook in my bag. This has been a nightmare!
Equinox and the parking garage need to be held accountable for what happened to me and my car because they did not and are still not taking any action to ensure the safety of their members. I will not rest nor give up on this case until Equinox shows what actions they are taking to protect the people they so-called "members."    Read moreYikes. Not only is this place old and dingy, they were particularly slimy to work with when it came to cancelling my membership. I felt like they were trying to scam me. I thought equinox was supposed to provide better customer service than planet fitness or any other low budget gym.
I enrolled in a free month membership during a promotion. Towards the end of my free month, prior to the date I would be charged for the following month, I reached out to the same person who set me up for the membership. I didnât hear back. The next day, I called, and they stated I agreed to a year-long membership, which I did not. When I explained I only joined for a free month, they recommended I speak to Kris which is who I already tried to contact. When he finally got back to me, 3 days later, I had been charged, and he points me to the direction of yet another person to speak to. That said person again did not get back to me after 4 days. By this time the $200+ fee had already been applied to my account. I provided the necessary medical note that was demanded of me (despite having reached out at the correct time to not incur this fee), and didnât get a response until over a week later. It was such a gross feeling like a used car salesman basically. I would never step foot in this place again.
TLDR: when trying to cancel my membership, nobody got back to me in time so I was charged. Nobody will answer you. The staff will tell you you actually signed a contract for a year-long membership when you didnât. And nobody will point you in the right direction of who to speak to, so they drag on the process until you canât get your money back.

   Read moreMy husband and I have been members here for the past four months. My husband used to work out alone at home, and I did CrossFit for two years. Due to a few changes in our schedule, we were in the market for a new gym membership. After we took the tour, we decided to sign up here.
The gym is spotless, towels are always available, the shower and locker room area is kept clean, and a cleaning crew is always on site. The machines are all in good condition, and there are plenty of treadmills, but only one of each type of weight machine. This sometimes means you must wait for someone to finish, incredibly when busy.
The staff is always friendly, and somebody is always around if you want to ask a question. They always greet you with a smile. I enjoyed their classes and the variety they offer. My favorite instructor was Elle Young. Her cardio class is super fun, and she will make you sweat and work hard!
Parking is validated for two hours.
