I was debating writing this review, I came in two weeks ago and I have not been the same ever since. This has been one of the most upsetting haircuts I have ever had. I’m not someone that writes reviews often. But after my horrible experience with Nicolette I honestly had to. She was beyond unprofessional during my appointment. She assisted me and another client at the same time and was not transparent about it. She stated she was back tracked due to two other clients coming in late and made it seem like she was done with her other clients. I went in for a simple hair cut and blowout which I repeatedly told her I did not want to go short. She left me with a choppy hair that is beyond short, I can’t even style it properly. I waited in the chair for almost 45 mins but it was a total of two hours just for her to cut my hair and blow dry it because she was assisting the other client at the same time. This had been my first experience with her. My previous hairstylist from the same salon moved away so to me it was a no brainer to come to the same place and try someone new and I loved going to this salon but after my horrible experience I will not be coming back. Overall Nicolette was not attentive and did not care and after I expressed to her it was too short she kept saying it will grow out nicely, like if that was going to make the situation better. I’m not writing this to make anyone feel bad or be rude. I’m hoping that in the future she can be transparent with her clients and more attentive to them...
Read moreSO UPSET WITH MARIA Definitely STAY AWAY for color. She was also 30 minutes late to our appointment $500 wasted and need to pay someone else to fix my hair. I have been getting blonde highlights/balayages since I was 18. Never have I had my hair done this AWFUL. I left the first time with ORANGE pieces in my hair. It wasn't just underneath but the top of my head is showing orange. She did allow me to go back free of charge but after she was done the second time it was still showing orange. Not as bad, but still orange non the less. When I told her it's better but I'm still seeing orange she said, "that's just your hair, I don't know why it's not taking the product". EXCUSE ME? Like I said, I know it's not "just my hair" since I've gotten the same thing for over 12 years. I had to try someone new because my usual girl is on maternity leave and I was going out of the country to be a bridesmaid in a wedding. Big mistake.
I rated her a 2 because she is nice and does good haircuts. But even when I was in her chair the first time she told me a story of a different client she had to fix her color and even said "I knew I would have to fix her color because I didn't like it either" that should have been a sign to me.

Read moreI was going to give it a 1 star for just booking experience. I was scheduled for a 3:30 appointment and the stylist assigned had multiple client cancellations and called me an hour after booking to move my appointment to 2 pm. Unfortunately I was unable to accommodate since I made plans to have lunch with a friend and I drove into the Valley from Santa Clarita. During my lunch someone texted me to tell me the stylist had an “emergency” and the only available time was 2 pm and if I could not make it I would have to reschedule for tomorrow. I was honestly annoyed because it was obvious the stylist wanted to leave early. I would have preferred honest communication rather to to do this dance. I opted to cancel because I found it unprofessional to keep trying changed my appointment time after driving into the valley and canceling gym plans to not be sweaty for the appointment. The owner of the salon reached out and was very kind and understanding and offered a solution but I was already uncomfortable with the overall interaction. He apologized for the behavior of his team and honestly he deserves 5 stars but it was too late...
