North Ray Yoga - Echo Park — Attraction in Los Angeles

One of the most beautiful and relaxing Yoga studios I have ever visited. This is the third Modo Yoga location I've seen, and they hold their standards high in every location. I live in Santa Monica and was in DTLA for my jury duty. I decided to book a session here via Class Pass and am glad to report Modo Yoga is Class Pass-friendly in every location.

Lorenzo at the front desk was friendly and helpful. He helped me set up an account and answered any questions I had. I love to come early to find parking and set up my yoga mat near the door, where it's a little cooler.

You can tell that Modo Yoga is selective with the teachers they hire to teach at their locations. The instructor, Carly, was simply fantastic. The room is hot and quiet, but you still feel motivated!

What I love about Modo Yoga is that their facilities are just top-notch. The women's changing room is spacious, with plenty of lockers, clean bathrooms, and six showers. The place is clean and neat.

Modo Yoga is an incredible place and community...I am not a dramatic person at all, but it has changed my life, in terms of both my physical health/weight, my flexibility and honestly, my complexion! Sweating it all out and all that. The space is clean and welcoming, the teachers are lovely and supportive, and the staff is super cool as well.

It's a super chill place I can go to meditate and challenge myself and also take it easy if I'm just not feeling it that day (the workouts themselves are not chill obviously, but you can dial up or down as you're feeling that day). When my friend brought me for the first couple times, I was like, this is very hard! But there's a bit of a natural high you get from the heat, the sweat, the meditative quality that got me addicted and now I go 3x a week, which I NEVER would have guessed I would do...

Give it a try. Also, all those people in Finland and Sweden live longer...

Well, I've tried a different studio on La Brea and fell in love! I was so happy to find out that there is another Modo in my neighborhood. I was excited to go on my only one day off. I arrived 15 minutes early and tried to park.

The problem is that classes go one after another and clients from the previous class occupy the parking lot and the street around and there is no place to park somewhere nearby. I ran from the next street and when I arrived, it turned out I was 4 minutes late. 4 minutes! They didn't let me in.

I understand and appreciate the customer care during the class, but then warn that there are parking difficulties or just make a larger window between classes so that people can find a place to park. Idk figure out this situation and keep your (new) clients happy.
