I’ve been to this place several times. Honestly, I preferred it when it was the old market. Whatever changes they made since then it does not work. Instead of eating on the pier, and having more restaurants to pick from, everything has been reduced to just the one restaurant in a freakin parking lot. First of all, there’s not enough seating that is in the shade. Secondly, the wait time was atrocious. I came here with my mom, my aunt and my boyfriend. We only ordered the one tray of food no drinks, no sides and it took us damn near 90 minutes before we received our food. And that’s only because I went up there to get a refund because our entire Saturday was wasted waiting for lunch. I don’t wanna blame the staff because they did nothing wrong, but something definitely needs to change. After we had gotten in, placed our order and was waiting all that time they closed the front gates so no one else could get in. Anybody else who wanted to get in had to wait. Personally, it didn’t look like anybody was telling those people what was going on and how long the wait time was going to be. I started to think they had ran out of food and didn’t wanna tell anybody. There was nothing coming out of the kitchen for anybody for a minute except beer and margaritas so people were still getting lit. I wasn’t the only person who was looking for a refund. There was a line of other people who wanted to get their money back as well. Some stayed because they got their food faster after they have complained. Others decided they were still going to leave and just never come back. Here’s my advice to those who want to come down here, get here before noon. I know this will be a hell of a breakfast, but that’s the only way you’re going to get a decently timed meal. Anything after 1230 to 1 o’clock you’re eating at your own risk because you might not walk out of there until 4 o’clock in the afternoon. My suggestion to the business, why don’t you just set a limit for how many people you wanna come in before noon, then close it down so nobody else can come in. Give your staff time to cook, serve, clean, and REST while customers are eating. Then open it back up like 2-3 hrs later for new people to get in. Clearly there’s not enough people to run this and management apparently it’s just incompetent. Folks are paying way too much to be sitting around in the hot sun, burning to a crisp, almost 2 to 3 hours just...

Read moreThis is the best place and best tasting seafood I've ever had! (People say it's only good because of the experience, but No, nobody likes to wait for 4 hours to eat. THEY COME BECAUSE IT'S GOOD)
Love it. The shrimp trays really are the best. The first tray is 1 pound, 2nd tray is 2 pounds, 3rd is 3 pounds. -You can ask for help in line. Everyone is helpful. Just get the basic seasoning, it's great. You won't need much else. -You can also order anything fried. I ordered the fried calamari, shrimp and oysters. All 3 were the best I've ever tasted! ❤️ -The main line when you walk in is where you can customize exactly what you want. You can literally choose one scallop and they'll weigh it and add it to your "fajita parillada" I asked for no vegetables- I wanted all seafood lol -Inside there are 2 more lines. You can order from the menu. They have trays you can choose from. The last line is for fried foods. But it's all fresh, so it's ok. You can also buy drinks here too and outside. *- They'll give you a pager, and your food will be prepared. The fresh trays will be ready inside. The fried food will be ready outside by the small window. Then enjoy!
** On Saturday and Sunday get here by 11 or you are not getting in. Weekdays are not as bad.**
(Get some of their seasoning and cook it at home as well. It tastes as close as you can get to the real thing. I bought 2 cans. I live in Laredo, Texas and there's nothing like this here. I've already made about 6 pounds of shrimp, some lobster and about 3 crab Legs and I use a good amount and it looks like this is going to last me a very long time. ) Still glad I...
