Playa Las Tunas Banquet Hall — Attraction in Los Angeles

I went there for a wedding. The host/owner is unbearable. He was trying to be funny but his jokes were incredibly sexist, disrespectful (he called women fat, short, dark and such). When the dollar dance came about he said the VIPs didn't need to stay in line. If you were to pin $100 on the newlyweds, you would pass at the end. When the time came he called on the VIPs but nobody stood up. He called on the guests like 4 or 5 times... It was very uncomfortable and apparently everyone noticed it but him. The live band was very good but with him leading it was hard to enjoy it. Another big deal was how bad they did with the proposal video. It stoped before it was supposed to and this guy asked for an applause for the DJ (who was the one in charged of the video and sound). Not cool at all. I would never give my business...

Umm, I was here for a party & it was horrible.. there’s no AC, I saw so many people sweating, the chicken was so hard & cold .. Waiters were so slow & the food ran very fast, I also heard that the “party bus” had NOOOOOO AIR CONDITIONING, those kids were sweating with that heat, the owner was late to pick the kids too & purposely got there late, im not sure what is it about the owner but he seems so money hungry & doesn’t care? I also heard more things about the owner & him being very mean I heard more worse things about him after the party ended, but yeah Please don’t go here. The service here just cares about money &...

Pleasantly admirable, with the right lighting and decorating. It's not very large, yet large enough for a nice size baby-shower or perhaps to be considered a meeting-hall.
