I first came to Quikpix many years ago as a USC student, when it was part of the old University Village. Since then this is the only place I have trusted for great quality passport photos over the years. Alam is very experienced, but more importantly he is a kind human being who knows how to treat students and customers well. I recently revisited the place after being disappointed by 3 other studios which claimed to produce the best passport photo quality. All of those pictures were full of shadows, incorrect lighting and did not make the mark. Not to mention I wasted my money. Then I decided to drive across town and come back to Quikpix. Alam used the right equipment, and patiently took a few iterations of pictures till I was fully satisfied with theĀ result. He did not compromise. Quality is really the best I have found over time, which is so crucial for a passport photo which is going to stare at you for the next 10 years! The print medium contributes greatly to the picture quality and this place does not use cheap quality paper which ofcourse would give you cheap qualityĀ prints. If you want that, please go elsewhere. Thank you Alam for your patience, quality product and staying close to the USC community for so many years, you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThisās the best place for taking OPT (work permits/immigration) photos in greater Los Angeles). I went to USC card center, CVS n Fedex Kinkos to take my OPT photos but there quality was so poor which was beyond imagination. Finally one of my friends recommended me to go to QUIKPIX. Accordingly I did that . The quality of the photos were excellent. The owner of the business (who took my photos) was very nice , knowledgeable n super experienced. Thatās why I believe he is in business for the last 38 years. Anyway he took my photos 3 to 4 Times n even let me choose the best ones. So if you need to take photos for OPT or Passport/immigration I highly recommend you to go to QUIKPIX n try yourself n find out how great service...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been going to this place ever since it was located in the old University Village. The quality of service is extremely good, and has consistently been so since I took my first roll of film to them back in the 20th Century! The proprietor is not only friendly and helpful, but he also has a very good sense of what makes a pleasing print or scan. Most of my best scans of 35mm film negatives have come from his shop. I also go there for my occasional passport photo needs, and have always been satisfied. Thereās not a lot of photo labs left. This has long been one of the better ones, so I recommend you try it out while you have...
