I went to the Tommy last month for a haircut. I first assumed that this is going to be like another standard and common barber shop, I’ve been going throughout.

Upon meeting Tommy, I saw him working with other clients and it was clear he was not just skilled but passionate about his craft. When my turn came up, Tommy took the time to listen attentively the my preferences and offered expert advice on what haircut would suit me best. His attention to detail was impeccable, carefully examining my hair texture and face shape before even picking up his tools.

As he worked, Tommy effortlessly blended layers, creating a haircut that was not only stylish but also perfectly tailored to enhance my facial features. The transitions between different lengths were seamless, clean and even.

What truly set him apart was his genuine interest in ensuring my satisfaction. Throughout the haircut, he engaged me in friendly conversation, making the experience not just about grooming but also about building a connection with his clients.

Upon finishing, I looked at myself and was blown away. The haircut was beyond my expectations — it was the best I had ever seen on myself. The lines were clean, the style was modern yet timeless, and it suited me perfectly.

Tommy is a great barber and an awesome person to get to know. I came in with a buddy of mine with no plan but to cut my long hair. I assumed a buzz cut, but was noncommittal to that style.

My buddy casually mentioned the idea that I could donate my hair to locks of love, and that idea immediately made parting ways with my hair much easier. Tommy, the owner of Barbershop on Vermont overheard the idea and enthusiastically shared how simple the process was to donate, and could help cut my hair in such a way that it could easily be donated. We now had a good plan.

As Tommy starts to cut my hair he kindly offers an alternative to my uncreative plan to get a buzz cut, mentioning he has something in mind that will work well for my face shape (and receding hair line). I put my faith in Tommy and step aside to let him cook. He worked some magic and gave me a major upgrade that I wouldn't have even known how to ask for.

I got a great haircut and had a great experience getting to know Tommy. I'll for sure be back in 6 to 8...
