Visited this location in May for a demo drive of the R1T and was completely blown away. The design of the space is beautiful and the value in repurposing the old Con Edison building was a great idea! The Venice location for Rivian is so uniquely put together but the employees are what truly make this place special. I did a demo drive with Ruth and she was beyond informative, she made me feel unbelievably calm for driving my first EV, she was very patient and extremely knowledgeable. After the demo drive we went back to the space where I also got a chance to meet the manager Anne, now she is truly a gem and I can see why this place is so special. Her love and care for her team was observed in her interactions with them. All of the employees at Venice are so welcoming and kind and make you feel right at home. You are never rushed to leave, they're happy to answer all of your questions, and walk you through the ordering process. Read moreThe biggest favor that anyone could have done for me in the last year would have been to convince me not to get a Rivian. The customer service is ridiculously unresponsive. They changed the sounds system so the sound system in the car I received was wildly inferior to the one in the car that I test drove. It is practically unusable and I suspect they purposefully give people test drives in cars with the only sound system. Additionally, I still have not received an NACS (Tesla) supercharger adapter that was promised to be sent “over the summer”. I have contacted them many ways and have only been told that they are not available. So do not trust what the salesperson tells you. Honestly, the lying to potential buyers is worse than I would think is even possible while still staying in business.
Update: they are available to purchase in the gear shop but the one that was promised as part of the purchase is still “impossible to track”. Customer service suggested that we buy one and when the one included arrives maybe we can sell it. That is an insanely frustrating suggestion. They refuse to provide what was promised at purchase...

He's been really wanting an electric vehicle, and we were leaning more towards the purchasing a rivian, as it fits our dream lifestyle. He was the only driver for the appointment, as I, and the other two in our party didn't want to drive. To preface, we don't smoke at all, so to assume that he was high without any evidence, investigating or looking into it, was quite rude. It really ruined our test drive experience, since it came out of nowhere. Our representative, eve or eva, didn't approach the situation nicely either. She embarrassed him in front of his brother and friend, who were both visiting out of state. He said she made him feel uncomfortable by saying something along the lines of "I need eye contact for honesty." He said he felt humiliated in front of our guests.
