Pressed Juicery — Restaurant in Los Angeles

This place tickled my fancy to the max. Where do I start? I was referred to try Pressed Juicery by my girlfriend who works nearby in Venice and got a free Latte referral promotion card which she let me use (great marketing tactic)! Thus, I got to try one of their Superfood Lattés from their new "Heat Menu." I got a Turmeric Latte which they describe as Velvety Spice that is good for brain function and has anti-inflammatory effects. I nearly went for the Matcha Latte instead which offers calm energy and antioxidant properties, however, being that there seemed to be bug in the air giving lots of people colds, I went with anti-inflammatory.. Brain function as an added benefit? SOLD - I'VE GOT REVIEWS TO WRITE! Pressed juice is known mostly for its cold juices which lend numerous health benefits and I was enticed to inquire about if a cleanse could be good for me since I had been considering doing one. The employee was friendly and honest. She said that her manager would be able to give me a lot more advice than her since I asked her when she thought a good time to do a cleanse would be and that I had a fear of losing bowel control mid-day. I passed on the cleanse idea that day but hey, at least I got honesty! Sometimes thats all you can really ask for and I appreciate honesty. I am sure the juices are phenomenal but it was the rest of the menu that charmed me at Pressed Juicery. They have soft serve ice creams made in house from 100% WHOLE FRUITS, NUTS, and VEGETABLES that are to die for. When I asked if a particular flavor was good, the friendly employee literally gave me every single flavor to taste test and I was so happy because of it (see attached photo). These items are on the "Freeze Menu" and I really enjoyed trying them. Last but not least there was an array of bite sized healthy goodies for a quick bite. They all looked incredibly enticing (photo attached). The design in this retail spot is nice and everything seems to point to the colorful products. They do a good job of not taking away from their main attractions nor doing too much beside good ol' fashioned kind, customer service. I stopped by this location today to pick up 6 juices. It was two gentleman in the store, one behind the counter and one mopping . It was approximately 8:20 and half the lights was cut off. As soon as I walked in, the guy that was mopping immediately stop what he was doing to ask me how may I help you?! I responded uhh, I would like to purchase a juice. The other guy behind the counter seen the weird transaction between us and stepped in (he was cool). I visited here and I was informed by a very kind female employee that the machine was down. With that being said, I requested they substitute the flavor with one that was working. When the female employee sought authorization from the male employee He said “no.” He had a very bad attitude and insisted the machine was working , but it clearly was not.
