See's Candies: Although See's Candies was founded in Los Angeles in 1921 by Charles See, the company's origins go back to his mother Mary. Mary developed her candy recipes in the late 1800's and passed them on to her son Charles when the family moved from Canada to California in 1919. It wasn't until 1985 that chocolate truffles like the ones I have today, were first introduced. Milk Double Caramel: This truffle is milk chocolate caramel and vanilla brown sugar. I buy premium chocolate for chocolate itself and the selection on dark chocolates should focus on that like European Brands with most solid chocolates pieces and truffles. Many seniors love your chocolates but how can they afford it at these prices for way too much sugar content? Maybe time to look at Newhaus or Venchi… sad as I loved See’s candies but the luster of the brand seems to be getting lost ( but not the price ). Premium prices? Premium quality, presentation...
