I’ve been getting breakfast from Egg Tuck since 2021 at K-Town location. When Gardena opened, we started going there because it was closer.
And when La Cienaga location opened, I was super excited because it’s a lot closer to where I live. I usually get two royal burrito, one with cheese and one without any modification. When I went during soft opening at La Cienaga, the burritos were perfect, just as usual.
I went again last week and ordered one avocado egg sandwich with ham & a royal burrito with cheddar.
The avocado was black where the seed was. Honestly, avocados oxidize easily and I understand it may still taste same. But near the core it was black and tasted sour. Couldn't they have just carved it out? The burrito also looked short and stubby. The tortilla tasted like raw flour dough. I don’t know if tortillas are usually heated before wrapping, but I ended up heating the burrito on a pan to get rid of the raw flour taste. The burrito was awesome! The soft egg and the crunch for to the meat and tater tots inside went well together with taste and texture. I want to try the egg sandwich when I return... TOMORROW!
My partner is so excited about the vegan options when they...
Read moreI visited Egg Tuck to try their offerings, despite never having been there before, and was taken aback by the cashier's surprisingly rude demeanor. She failed to listen attentively as I placed my order, necessitating three repetitions, and this occurred despite my being the sole customer in the store aside from the employees. Upon learning that I intended to pay with cash, her attitude deteriorated further, prompting me to consider departing, but my hunger compelled me to stay. I had never experienced such poor treatment, yet I remained optimistic. When I attempted to pose a question, I was ignored. I hope the burrito will be exceptional, as I will not be leaving promptly upon completing my meal, and the cashier is...
