
The Sepulveda Dam is awesome. Literally jaw dropping and very easy to get to. Just park on Woodley, cross the street at the light and walk in. It's a ways in but it's worth it. The station is gated but you can access both sides and also walk along the top of the reservoir walls. Also a cool view of the 101 fwy from a perspective unique to the dam. Lots of trash and reminents of homeless encampments so don't be surprised if you actually run into someone living in the basin. We passed a tent inside the connector tunnel to the lake/park side north of the dam. Jerk had an unattended fire going while winds were blowing heavily. Luckily fire trucks came and handled.
