What a great place to pass time with the family and have some fun without breaking the wallet. All the activities are managed with tokens and a game card for the arcade! You don't have to carry around a bunch of tickets - it's preloaded onto a card. They also have machines to check your ticket balances. I loved the variety of games they had in the arcade - everything from old school Galaga, Carnival toss style and air hockey, to sit down Halo and Mario Cart. When you swipe your card for each game, the machine will tell you your available balance and ticket amounts. Make sure to watch this carefully because sometimes the machines will not add your tickets to the card. We had this issue and they were nice to add an extra game instead of add our 40 ticket points to the card. Of course the next time she used the free game on the same machine, she didn't get that many tickets.
We enjoyed the batting cages and miniature golf. There is a three token minimum purchase for the batting cages. They supply the bats and helmets. They have an awesome tent with 40, 50 and 60 mph choices with either baseball or high arc softball. Love it. There were kids there that were slaying it in the 50 and 60 mph cages. I would've just enjoyed watching them because they were pros compared to me and my friend. We were just there to try it because it's been over a decade since we've been to one. How embarrassing!
The miniature golf rocked. I can only imagine what it looks like at night. The courses are nicely decorated. I would suggest they place arrows or signs that lead you to the next hole because it could be confusing trying to figure out which way to go. The golf course was nice because there was shade available along with the sound of their cool waterfalls. Very relaxing. I can see this place popping at night.
All in all, the staff here is wonderfully nice and professional for being a young staff. Really well ran and managed. We will be back to experience all this...
Read moreWe had a birthday party here for an 8 year old and it went pretty well. Our host, Rolando, was super helpful, and the food was decent -- about the level I would expect for a mini-golf/arcade atmosphere. Here are some pro/cons for those considering this as a birthday venue:
Pros: Very easy. We called, made a reservation with a credit card and we were done. We didn't even have to provide the final headcount until we arrived. Food was decent and they had some nicer options (like salads). It's hard to beat the combination of arcade games and golf. All the kids had fun. They stored the cake for us to keep it cool. Cons: Parking can be challenging. You probably want an early or late party to avoid the rush. The game card options for the party ($2.50 or $5.00) are ridiculously low considering the games can be $2 on the high end. One kid ran through his entire $5 card in under 10 minutes. IMHO, the party cards should be $10 or $15 to better represent 30 minutes of play. Mini-golf course takes a while. Especially on a busy day when there are lines and the course moves slow. We had unlimited mini-golf, but everyone was done after one game. The private areas are not that private. The pictures on the website make them feel larger and more isolated than they are. We were in the boathouse and strangers kept walking through our party to cross over to the far side of one of the golf courses.
Overall, we still had fun, but if we did this again, I would make some changes. I would go with the cheaper birthday package that includes only one round of golf and $2.50 game cards (instead of $5), then I would take each of those game cards and add $10 to them before I gave them to the kids. Also, i'd skip on the private area and just use the shared pavilion. The kids are either in the arcade or on the golf course for most...
Read moreMy friends and I all had a great time and it wasn’t too expensive at all. $12 per person to play mini golf. Definitely going back! My son loves this place. They have options to celebrate birthdays. Next one will definitely book here. They have three different types of playing areas. They provide clean equipment for games. Recommended! Overall a fun experience for the kids and families there are 3 courses to choose from if I'm not mistaken with 18 holes each it gets a little crowded at times and you might have to wait to try the next hole this recent visit was my first time trying the batting cages ever in my life it was fun and kinda painful on the wrists
I remember also finding a bag of hip hop tapes and tape player and i was ecstatic cause i just got into music that yearhere as kids, and we came as teens, too. This past weekend, my dad brought my two sons and I for a birthday - and it was just as good as I remember it! While many such places are run down and a shadow of their former glory, this place has been well-kept and is in great shape. It's far better than Boomers and other such places.
We waited about 20 minutes for our clubs but it was a Saturday night so quite busy. $12 for a round of 18 holes, $5 for replays (there are three courses to choose from so you can do a different one). We also did the batting cages. $6 for 30 pitches (helmet and bat rental free, MUST HAVE DRIVERS LICENSE). Cute date spot! Massive game room, but no food that I saw.
Friendly staff. We visited on a Thursday morning and it was busy with noisy kids! Good fun with a decent amount of shade (as it...
