10/10 fast casual pita wrap and service with a smile!
We arrived hungry to start our Sunday funday and was greeted with a smile at the register. We ordered the special lamb gyro and the beef koobideh with a salad and fries.
The food came out fresh within 10 minutes, and my beef koobideh was piping hot! Before delving into our Sunday lunch feast, the owner asked us very nicely if we would like hot sauce. She brought me homemade hot sauce and I noted immediately that I wish they would bottle it. If you enjoy hot sauce, be sure to request it - it pairs well with the pita and the fries.
I’ve eaten at lots of places for takeout and delivery, but I think the quality of the food here easily rivals Javan, Darya, and Shamshiri Grill to name a few. I love Persian/Mediterranean food and I feel like we get the comfort of home cooked food here makes this place special. We ordered a lot of delivery from here during the pandemic.
One day we will move away from WLA, and we will miss this place. Be sure to try it if you’re...
Read moreThe thing I love most about Rosemary Grill is you’ll never still be hungry after you eat here. They give you large portions that usually lasts me two meals (unless I’m starving).
I ordered the Chicken Shawarma plate, which is my usual go-to dish at a Mediterranean restaurant. They did not disappoint here, although I’ll admit that I’ve had better. I couldn’t taste all the spices in the chicken and think it could have used a bit more salt. The meal comes with a powerfully tasty garlic sauce and hummus on the side which helps enrich the flavor.
As with most Mediterranean restaurants, they can be quite pricy. The good thing about Rosemary Grill is that you’ll get your money’s worth. I believe they also have lunch specials.
Be mindful that it is a small location in a strip mall, so parking can sometimes be a pain, and seating is very limited should you choose to eat there.

Read moreRosemary Grill is a chill little Mediterranean restaurant in West LA. It's in a pretty small strip mall in case you miss it across the street from Mom's Bar. When you come inside, it's pretty homely. Don't expect anything too extravagant as it's a pretty simple Mediterranean restaurant with pita wraps, some standard plates and burgers. I got the falafel plate for about $8 which is a pretty good price. Comes with hummus, pita bread, falafel (four pieces), and two sides - which I got the soup/salad. You also get a garlic sauce/hummus and hot sauce if you want it. The taste was pretty solid - nothing too amazing or extravagant. I was probably most impressed by the garlic sauce interestingly as it had a nice texture and taste. They also have a water station and some soft drinks. Prices are pretty okay - taste isn't too bad. If you're in the area looking for cheap Mediterranean, Rosemary...
