The young man and young lady in the electronics department(don't know their names but both under 5ft and petite) had the crappiest customer service I have ever experienced. It wasn't that they had a nasty attitude per say but they couldn't care any less about me. First I had to steal their attention away from their phones while they were at the counter to ask for service. After that the young man came over for 2 minutes then switched with the girl as it was obvious he wasn't interested while I started asking questions. Then he starts calling the girl back to the counter while she is supposed to be helping me as she was checking other targets for the watch I wanted. He returns to say we don't have it, so I tell him I already know that which is why the girl was looking it up in the first place.
Also, when I asked to see both watches that were locked away he only handed me one as if I was going run off somewhere while I'm trying to read the boxes since NONE OF THE WATCHES WERE TURNED ON nor did they have pamphlets for me to do a quick comparison. I felt extremely discriminated against and I held my composure as best as possible. I asked the cashier that ring me up for the name of the young man (Johnathan) in the electronics department and he told me there was 20 something associates in electronics, yet I only saw 3. Two ladies and one man.
If you want to be treated poorly, go to this location but if you want a tiny bit of service I'd suggest going to the one in...
Read moreELENA: manager of the store. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I went to buy a new phone, and asked the clerk how long it would take. He said '15 minutes'. 15 minutes go by. 20, 40... at the one hour mark I told the clerk I had to leave; it's January 1st and my family is waiting for me to take them out, instead of waiting for all this time uselessly. The clerk (who I have no complains about), called Elena the manager to help him issue the refund of the charge they already ran on my card; she shows up next to him, he's looking at her waiting for help to just input her number on the computer (a 5 seconds task), and instead she decides to answer the phone and get on a conversation with someone who was inquiring about some item. She spent 15 minutes with this 'not-customer'; so I'm already 1 hour 15 minutes at Target, when it was supposed to be "15 minutes". I told Elena that they have to update their training so that they can tell real customers "it can take as little as 15 minutes, but sometimes it can go long"; that's all. She gave me this despising look, which is when I really got very upset. And on top of that, she had the nerve to say "I will tell the manager". Not only she is a TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER, but a VERY DISRESPECTFUL AND UNCARING TARGET EMPLOYEE. I sincerely hope a superior of hers reads this review, and considers...
Read moreI'm commenting back to Ubi Sheikh's bad experience with the person with the service dog. I'm curious if the dog was properly identifiable. Did the dog have a vest, a service dog tag, or both. I am disabled and have been in this target on La Cienega and Rodeo Road with my service dog, properly identified, and had no problem. We were there for two hours. I understand exactly how you feel about people carrying their so called service dogs into an establishment as if they were stuffed animals and no one says a word. Plus it is very obvious most dogs that are in stores today are not true service dogs and this is causing a lot of problems for the other service dogs and especially for the establishments that serve food. There are too many people taking advantage of something that was specifically meant for people who truly need a service dog. If those people only knew what life was like day in and day out to be disabled, barely getting by financially on a disability paycheck for the rest of their lives, they would leave their foo foo stuffed animal...
