Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Los Angeles

This place is a hidden jam inside Ladera Shopping strip (right behind Carl's Jr) for halal spicy food lovers. I have never tasted such a nicely marinated fried chicken ever. One can taste the flavors to the bone. For sides they have French fries, macaroni salad and coleslaw. Unfortunately, they do not offer dine-in or delivery facilities. I hope they will start one of the two at least soon because all the people who referred me to this place came from far away and some started eating in the car or reheated the chicken upon arriving at their destination. Besides chicken, they also offer fish and shrimp dishes a la cart or in combo. They are located on the crossing of Obama and La Cienega at 5818 Obama Blvd, L.A., across from the Target store. They are pretty fast in completing the order and take orders over the phone as well but will pack with sides upon arrival. There is no drive-in available and there is a wait time for orders to be packed and handed over. They accept cash and Only "Visa" and "MasterCard" for card transactions. This place has lots of potential. The restaurant is very clean. And they make everthing fresh. I recommend calling ahead if you dont like to wait. Lets talk about chicken. Non GMO,meat is tender and flavorful. The size is above average, meaning more for your tummy. The flavor of the chicken is intense. Its like bringing new orleans in your mouth, im talking about spices and cajun. Enough kick leaving you wanting for more. Dont get me started on the Gumbo... delicious! If you are not a fan of spicy, let them know. They will accommodate your needs. They might not have levels of how spicy but it makes you wanting for more and more. I rather taste the chicken and the spice , rather than too spicy that all i taste is just blah! They also provide Halal chicken, which is a really nice option to have . Especially nowadays. They might not have waffles or pancakes or chicken sandwich . Its just straight up fried chicken with love! No funny business , just fried chicken business. Highly recommended. This is my go-to spot for fried chicken. Pre-COVID, I'd come here twice a month to get the River Boat Pack (16 pcs, 2 large sides, 6 bread rolls). Now, I live further away, but once in a while, I'll make the drive out here. My family loves how spicy and juicy the fried chicken is. We usually call in to place our order and come for pick up. I haven't had any issue with parking. I will note that they might not be ready for the first order at their opening time. I came once to order for a lunch picnic and the workers didn't come until 10 minutes past at which point I still needed to wait another 20+ minutes for the fried chicken to be ready.
