The Paddock Riding Club — Attraction in Los Angeles

I have been a boarder off and on for many years. The amenities for guests and horse's are high end. The footing to the friendly people are wonderful and it was a real pleasure entering the gated safe area. Only 10 miles from downtown but with the LA river and Griffith park next door its perhaps the last secret riding garden to enjoy with your horse. Attempted to price gauge from fire victims after offering to shelter horses. Horses arrive to no shavings in stalls, no buckets, no feed, no stall mucking. Then retroactively attempted to charge $200 per horse "access fee" and $100 dollar a day fee for the horses to be housed. Then they tried to walk it back after all the horses had to be relocated that they "took in" for all of a day and they're getting bad press. Shameful...

Multiple rings to choose from, many great trainers, good facilities--clean bathrooms, changing areas, shower available, drink/snack machines, water fountains, tables and shade. Love the lit rings--can ride until 9/10pm if needed! Board is somewhat pricey compared to other facilities and the arena footings need improvement, but personally can't beat the proximity and location. Staff/personnel on-site 24/7. Definitely a...
