Buyer beware. Ask questions. Be firm with what you want. Research & know your products. To be clear and above all, I have absolutely NO dispute with the current results of what they gave me. I had reasonable expectations, & although I wish I had an even better result (donât we all?), I'm basically satisfied - FOR NOW. So issues of quantity or quality are moot. They claim that I was told I would need another vial, falsely assuming I was complaining about the current result. But after Sarah told me that she was done, I was pleasantly surprised when she said that she had some leftover, & asked me where I wanted to inject the extra filler. Done. So it was "enough.â It just wasnât the product I asked for. I am a 68 year old senior citizen, and how often I need to shell out the next $475 is EXTREMELY important to me. Iâm not feeble yet, but I certainly feel that I was a little taken advantage of. I arrived & explicitly asked for Vollure. I told them that my PERSONAL reason for choosing it was because it's marketed by Allergan to be effective for "12 to 18 months. Their others are tagged as only "up to 12 months." ( BTW, I emailed the manager, Kim, an Allergan side-by-side screen capture to demonstrate this). After all, who would want to pay $475 for something that could only last for less than a year rather than for something that had the potential to last from 12 to 18 months? A little common sense here. I knew that I wanted something (Vollure) that stood to last longer than the others. While Kim continues to persist in still disputing the validity of Allergan's own specifications, it's all moot and irrelevant anyway. My reasons for choosing one product over another is frankly none of anyone's business but my own anyway. I wanted what I wanted. I reminded Sarah several times that this extended-time quality of Vollure was specifically why I had personally selected it in the first place (regardless of whether it was true, false, or subjective). It was my decision and I was willing to take the risk with Vollure. So it was without doubt that they KNEW that THIS was the only thing that was VERY important to me. Certainly individual results can vary, but compared to each other by the company itself, this is how Juvederm itself compares the durations of its own two products between each other. Upon completion of my remote consult with their nurse practitioner, Sarah surprised me with "sorry, we're out of stock of Vollure. I immediately responded, "then we need to reschedule until you get it back in stock. Will you get it back in soon?" She responded âI doubt it.â (Odd response). She then offered Ultra Plus as an equivalent replacement for my requested Vollure. I was skeptical and declined, concerned that it wouldn't last as long as the Vollure. She assured me that "oh, it's really the same." Again, I resisted. "Let's reschedule." It became clear that she was more concerned with having a "zero sales" appointment slot wasted than with fulfilling a customer request for an out-of-stock item. She persisted, and I relented and agreed. I trusted her. Maximum product duration, first and foremost. Who would cheat a senior citizen? People donât do that, especially since they want your repeat business. Right? She began the injections, focusing on my 2 areas of concern. Although naturally painful, it was otherwise a very positive experience. She asked "we have some extra left over, where do you want it?" I asked for her to inject it back into the primary area. Done. On the way out, as a confirmation, I asked âin how many months should I return to maintain the effects.â I asked "about 14 to 16 months?" I preemptively added "And yes, I know it's an individual thing. Yes, my mileage may vary." Her response was "more like in 6 to 12 months?" What? Come again? What happened to the part about "up to 18 months?" I reached out to Kim, exchanging a few emails back and forth. But she was only interested in justifying her employee rather than showing some integrity nor any effort to âmake...
Read moreIâve been a loyal client of The Skin Agency for years, but my recent experience with a lip filler treatment was extremely disappointing and left me with lasting concerns.
After the procedure, I immediately developed visible lumps, asymmetry, and discomfort that did not resolve with time. I was told this was normal swelling and post procedure lumps, but it did not go away. After two months, my lips were still lumpy and uneven. I consulted multiple licensed professionals afterward who confirmed the issues were likely due to poor injection technique â not anatomy or prior filler (which had been fully dissolved before treatment). I had to undergo a dissolving session to fix the damage, which the clinic thankfully provided at no cost, but the fact that this was needed at all says a lot about the quality of the original work. BTW, there is still dissolving that needs to be done but they are unwilling to do it for free after that one session. Ridiculous. You damage my face and are STILL asking me for money?
Despite raising these concerns early and respectfully requesting a refund or credit, I was met with a carefully worded response that ultimately took no accountability for the outcome. I was told that âproper protocolâ had been followed, even though the results required correction and caused both physical discomfort and emotional stress.
Whatâs most disappointing is the lack of responsibility or care when something clearly went wrong. As a long-time client, I expected more â and Iâm now taking my business elsewhere.
Beyond laser, I would not advise coming here. Go to a spa that actually hires and responsibly trains skilled professionals. Their IG photos are unrealistic and do not actually show healed results -- just the immediate before and after with glazed and glossed lips that hide any potential imperfections.
I would caution others to think carefully before booking filler treatments here. Aesthetics require not just technical skill (which I don't believe this medspa has) but also accountability when...
Read moreIâm leaving this review after trying to resolve the issue directly with the clinic, but unfortunately, I havenât received a proper response neither a compensation proposal for the technician error.
I paid in full and in cash for a five-session full-body laser hair removal package for both myself and my wife, expecting professional service and consistent results. Unfortunately, my experience at The Skin Agency in Santa Clarita has been disappointing.
During my first session, the nurse completely missed noticeable areas of my chest and lower bellyâcrucial zones for a full-body treatment, especially for a man. This kind of oversight is unacceptable. I returned and kindly addressed my concerns, and while they did assign me a new nurse for the second session, things only slightly improved. The second technician was more attentive, but still left stripes and untreated hair patches, even on the exact areas I had asked to be more precise with.
I raised these concerns and requested a refund, especially given that I paid for ten full-body sessions (five for me, five for my wife) upfront. I was told Iâd receive a call back in two to five business daysâitâs now been six, and I havenât heard anything. This lack of follow-up and accountability adds to the frustration and gives the impression that they don't really care once theyâve received the payment.
I had chosen this clinic based on the good reviews, but my experience didnât reflect the level of service promised. If you're considering The Skin Agency for laser treatments, I strongly recommend you proceed with caution and do not pay in full upfront until you've experienced at least...
