Went on a Monday thought it would be a more pleasant first experience but it was very unimpressive. I went with my 14-year-old and six-year-old sons and it was our first time so we were not really familiar with the process. They do have large signage and steps, but the instructions are not specific enough plus they only had 2 workers who were young and lacked good customer service and socialization skills. Initially we stood around for a few minutes trying to figure out what to do and hoping that one of the workers would notice us and walk over to help us start the process, but the two of them were busy with other customers at different stages in the process .
Step one is pick your slime base, they have these small bowls with different types/textures of bases and the sign says to pick one, but itâs not clear as to whether we grab a blob of slime from the bowl(s) and take it with us or if we pick up the whole bowl and take it with us⌠When we went to go ask for help, the young girl simply said to pick our slime and what she meant was pick it, keep it in mind and then come back to her and tell her which slime you want. You are not supposed to actually pick the slime up. after picking the slime base we had to go look for her but at this point, she was already busy with another customer at a different process of the slime making so we had to wait for her before we could tell her what base we wanted. At this point, she proceeded to send us back and pick a sent for the slime and do the process again of coming back and finding her which she was busy again, the second time around so we had to wait for her to finish and then let her know what our scents were. This process of picking stuff, having to find the employee(s)then wait for them while they assist other customers is very ineffective and annoying. After picking the scent we went back to the area where the mixers are, and this part was not hands-on for the kids at all. The employee manipulated the mixer and the spatula and blended the slime while the kids watched added the scent. We had to go back to the wall a third time because she forgot to tell us that we also had to bring our colors when we picked our scent so we went back-and-forth a third time and then the kids were able to add the coloring as well. After this, they sent us to the wall where the glitter, toppers, beads, and other items are to blend them into our slime and knead it. The thing is that during each step of the process, the workers briefly help you and then step away because theyâve got to go help the next customer and the next customer so they are constantly in between customers . It does not feel like they are providing individualized assistance. You are pretty much on your own and they briefly guide you. Donât think their system works at all. They definitely need way more employees. Not an impressive spot although the idea sounded great. at least if their customer service was great. I wouldâve given them one more star. the kids were looking forward to it, but felt that it wasnât that fun. Needs to be More...
Read moreCame here for a fun time to create some slime. The atmosphere was great and the workers were amazing, immediately coming up and guiding us through the steps. The steps themselves were easy, I was given a slime base of my choosing and told to choose the color and scents plus additional glitters and fun little toys and sprinkles. Fair warning, the glitters they have are quite chunky, which makes the slime not so fun to play with as it hurts your hands. The biggest reason I gave this place 3 stars was the pricing. 27 dollars for one slime (mind you, I was given the base so I didnât get to make it) is just a little bit nuts. I understand that if you wanted cheap slime, you can make it on your own. But $27?? Thatâs a LOT for a container of slime. The owners likely agree that itâs overpriced as the pricing for the slime was nowhere to be seen until you check out. The experience was nice, the workers were great, but the slime was mid and hurts to play with if you add it glitter (I did unknowing that it would hurt). Honestly, making slime at home would be easier, cheaper, and give you more options in customization. If you donât want the mess, there are plenty of reputable slime shops that will create better slime for...
Read moreWe came to the slime shop looking for a wonderful hands on experience. Upon entering I had to find a worker as they were in the back and not welcoming as if our presence was unwanted. The women in the front said we could only come by appointment and I let her know I would like to register. I was at the location at 4:00 and my appointment time was set to 6:30. Keep in mind it was empty and no one was in the shop. The instructions are on the wall but the process was not easy and staff were lost in the back. Our slime was so sticky as it needed more activator. The environment and energy was hostile or as if workers were bothered by the presence of customers. It was my sons birthday and it took away the special experience we were excited to receive. I would recommend to the owner to retrain current staff and best practices for customer service as well as keeping a clean environment there were beads and dye all over the floor. Disappointed I wonât be back for play dates or...
