I visted for my birthday lunch on a Friday. This was my first time. I wanted to come because there were such great reviews on Yelp AND the images of food looked delicious. The restaurant was pretty busy. You may want to make a reservation like I did to skip any lines. What do I have to say about Bazille?!? A-Maz-Ing !! First off Lauren (our server) was fantastic. Such a warm personality, helpful and fully knowledgeable of all menu items!! She's a keeper Bazille. Hint: sit at her station! The holiday decor was just enough. The dining area well kept, stylish yet modern. Now the food. The bread was so warm and fresh. Suggestion forget the butter and slather the Kalamata Olive Aioli on it, yum! We had Herbed French fries with Kalamata Olive Aioli. The presentation of the fries was aesthetically pleasing. The Cilantro Lime Shrimp Salad did the taste buds good with just enough shrimp. The lime was not at all over powering. The Warm Asian Glazed Chicken Salad had warm chicken and juicy, cold mandarin oranges with just the right amount of dressing. All this without make the salad soggy. How do you do that!?!? Now let's go back to Lauren. We were having a hard time figuring out what to drink. She asked us our flavoring preferences and made suggestions. We asked her to just surprise us. She made a delicious Raspberry Martini with Chambord. Read moreHuge amount of gratitude today to the Manager Catherine/Kathryn/Katherine (overwhelmed..ugh spelling?) and the entire staff at the Nordstroms Cafe today who went above and beyond to make sure that everyone had the best possible day. The hostess was so sweet letting me know a table was about a 15-20 min wait but that I could go take my Mom for a stroll no problem. She was friendly, kind and super positive which made the wait seem like nothing. I’d like to mention that she did all this while my mom with dementia peppered her with questions about this “brand new fancy store” she had never seen in her life. (Except for the 100 times she had been here before and seen it) she even held my package, so I could hold onto my mom bette I’m sure she could have gotten in trouble for that, I realized after walking away, but she was kind. We came back when our table was ready, they were passing out flowers, our server suggested something delicious for me, our food was amazing. They brought disposable cameras for photos and took photos for us. From hostess, to server, to runners, they were all amazing. My mom was teary and told me how happy she was and while my Mom could not remember many of the things in my life today which was so terribly sad….the people of Nordstrom’s cafe gave us a memory for today. Read moreI enjoy this place it’s convenient and the food is good, but the customer service was so bad last time I refuse to come back anytime in the near future. When the staff continually lies and puts out false information so you can’t dine there. Why would I ever wanna come back here? I came in late july after work to eat and they informed me at 3:30 pm they’re not taking anymore seatings except reservations…it was 3:10 and they would not seat my party. I ask to be sat anywhere including the bar and was refused. So I book a open table for 3:30pm which the app allowed me…5 mins later they call canceling it. I requested the manager, but they were busy and requested a call back…that never happened, but why would I be shocked at a establishment that can’t even give me a straight answer or even post a “closed” sign when they’re not open because a large party they have to attend too or the other answer I was given they had to close for “short staffed.” It’s clear this restaurants poorly lead when the staff can’t even accommodate those that eat here regularly or give a straight answer about why they’re closed…because when you refuse to seat people to dine…that’s what you are…a closed restaurant…unlike their posted business hours…That or perhaps this establishment doesn’t like money. I hope the owner sees this message and takes corrective action to avoid future incidents as such....
