XO Aesthetic Refinery | A Boutique Med Spa — Attraction in Louisville

This past Sunday was my very first time visiting xo aesthetic refinery. I went online to book an appointment to get pampered before an upcoming vacation. It was very convenient they were open on the weekend as I had shopped around & many places were closed by the time I got off work or not on the weekend at all. The online scheduling system was very easy to use & understand what I was trying to book along with understanding the Cost. I booked a mature skin facial as I am 38 & am starting to see unwanted lines & wrinkles so I thought this would be a great choice. I also had a brow shaping & Tent, & added on a dermaplane service. My appointment with Brooke was amazing from start to finish! She was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed through each step. Upon entering the store I was greeted by Brook at the front counter, I'm pretty sure I was the stores first Appt. for the day because it appeared it was only her & I there, as my appt. was for 9am. She led me into a room that was very aesthetically pleasing with vibes of comfort. She informed me to remove my top & put a sort of towel/robe around my top & to lay on the table & she would return after giving me a few minutes to do so. When she entered back into the room she very informatively & went over each thing I was having done & the order in which she would do them & why she did them in that order. She started with shaping my eyebrows & waxing my lip but said we would wait until towards the end to tent because she would be washing my face several times. Next we moved on to the dermaplane as she said it was better to do on a dry face. After she started on my facial which I might add felt amazing the entire time she was doing it. She put on some face mask product that had to sit for some time before cleaning it off & while it sat on my face she sat a Red light over my face to help the product seep into my skin better. While that was happening she proceeded to massage my hand, arms & shoulders which also felt over the top amazing I could have laid there all day! After, she continued on with the facial, followed by tenting my eyebrows & then finished with products that would stay on my face. She did an amazing job on shaping my eyebrows as they were way past due with needing it & my face felt so soft and smooth after receiving a facial and derm from her. I will definitely be back in the future and I will highly recommend her and this facility to any...

I never leave reviews, but this one is absolutely deserved. Skin is an investment. You wear it every single day, so invest in who is caring for it.

I’ve had quite a few treatments done at XO Aesthetic Refinery, and even though I knew after my very first appointment that Emma deserved a glowing review, I wanted to experience enough to give a fair and full picture. After several visits, I can confidently say she is hands down the best. I will recommend her any chance I get.

Emma is incredibly detail oriented in every aspect of her work. She thoroughly explains each step of a treatment, walks through post-care instructions, schedules around my busy work calendar, reschedules when life happens, and helps me build an affordable yet effective skincare routine. She follows up after treatments, keeps track of totals to make sure I stay within budget, and even sends me home with facial towels in a Ziploc so I could wash off my chemical peel at my hair appointment since I wouldn’t be home. It’s the little things that make such a big difference, and Emma goes above and beyond every time.

She is professional, kind, personable, and clearly educated in her craft. Her communication is unmatched. She always makes sure treatments complement each other perfectly, such as timing chemical peels with Botox or layering microneedling and peels in the right sequence. She even thinks ahead to make sure services like brow lamination and spray tans coordinate seamlessly.

So far, I have received VI Peels, microneedling, spray tans, brow tint and lamination from Emma, with upcoming facials and extractions planned. Every single treatment has been tailored perfectly to my skin and goals. Since coming to her, my skin has transformed, but more importantly, so has my confidence. She has completely changed the way I view skincare and what it means to take care of yourself. She has helped me see that investing in your skin is not just about appearance. It is about feeling your best every day.

I am so glad Emma is the one prepping me for my wedding. I trust her fully and know I’ll be glowing on my big day thanks to her care and attention to detail. If you’re looking for a solution with real results to address crepey skin, loss of collagen, sun pigmentation , and let’s just face it… overall aging, then you must go see Jessica Duffy @ XO Refinery!!! I went there to learn more about options for my skin. Jessica shared several different considerations which made me comfortable that I was in the driver’s seat for what I could afford and couple with most important to me, what would give me the longest lasting results with little down time. Lutronic Genius and Ultra Laser was my solution. If you’re nervous or intimidated about going to any type of cosmetic nonsurgical office, but don’t know where to even go….This is the place to go to where you feel at ease with Jessica. She’s extremely knowledgeable about all of the services they provide. Jessica is just one of those people that when you meet her, you feel like you’ve known her for a lifetime. She just has that welcoming energy about her, and her goals are to help you become knowledgeable about the services and options that most fit your needs and your budget. When I tell you I’m always skeptical about the results these type of services are said to bring and the “little down time” they quote to have…let me tell you, while it is a range because everyone heals differently etc., even Jessica was shocked by how quickly I heeled and the results I saw which were faster and even better than I expected. Jessica checked in on me throughout my recovery and follow up for my next appt time. I truly felt like I had the information and care I needed to get amazing results.
