Fishery — Restaurant in Louisville

It was my first time eating at this restaurant and it was enjoyable and the food was good. I was with two other companions and the three of us ordered quite a few items. I had the salmon croquette platter and it was lightly breaded and came with two sides; vegetable soup and potatoes salad,. I also received a side of seasoned rice, which was quite good. The potatoe salad was very plain and could have been tastier with the addition of onions, sweet pickles and hard cooked eggs. The vegetable soup was homemade and had cabbage in the mix with just a touch of heat. Very enjoyable. My companions had a fried fish sandwich with tartar sauce and the other had crab cakes and what looks like homemade French fries. He enjoyed both. The other companions had a crab cake sandwich and a Michelob Ultra beer; no complaints here. We also received a serving of cooked peas in a slightly sweet cream sauce, it was ok. There is dining in tables, which were filled, but there is also take home service. There is no wait staff, one places an order, pays for your food and then retrieves the order when called. CALL FIRST and see if they have Air Conditioning! It was a Hot Box and people were leaving as they entered the restaurant? We have been going there for years and always the Heating and A/C is simply not adequate for the dining area! Employees did not seem to care that the three tables that were seated were all complaining. You have one employee checking the thermostat and not acknowledging to their customers how uncomfortable they were? This has been going on for years! With one window unit for the dining area and no updates at all other than their pricing? The Health Dept needs to look at this situation to make sure the food and kitchen passes inspection. I suggest you CALL BEFORE YOU Visit and make sure they Have WORKING A/C in the Summer and adequate Heating in the Winter. You wouldn't Cool or Heat your home like this - why would a business not update their equipment? Ir was refreshing to walk outside to cool down. We stopped by to get lunch. They were very busy when we got there. That is normal for them. We placed our order and took a seat at 1 of their open tables. Our drinks came quickly & our fish/meals came shortly afterward. It was piping hot & to order. We got the 1st order Iceland Cod Platter, coleslaw, and fries and drink. The 2nd order was their huge Catfish Sandwich, a Bowl of Clam Chowder & a drink. All the employees were very polite and courteous. Even as busy as they were, the place was constantly being cleaned (the tables & area around that table). This isn't our 1st time there. We have been customers of theirs for several years.
