This will be an updated review from the 2020 South Florida Fair

2019 South Florida Fair

This past Tuesday I made my way north for the one hour drive to the annual South Florida Fair for my second time. Last year was my first visit there, so I planned again this year to pay a visit to the big event.

As usual because I went on the $2.00 tuesday gate special it was very crowded. It was diffacult to find a parking space even when I arived at 2:30 in the afternoon and was much more packed than I had expected. Although it is a very good price for hundreds of families to be able to get into the park, I think the crowds would be much better served if the $2.00 gate price was also offered on another day. This would then ease up much of the conjestion that happens on a tuesday.

This year I found a few disappointments that has made me decide not to make a second trip back to the fair this year.

The first and most important one is that there were no signs that said To The Fair Grounds above the door exit from inside the building entrance. Many people were confused just as I was while I circled inside trying to find my way out.

The second reason was because of the conjestion of far too many people on the Midway all the lines were long when you had to wait in line to either go on a ride, or wait for food and beverages.

That being said, I did have a really good time taking as many candid photos as possible to add to this extensive review.

The first thing I did was walk through the shopping center which is whorth the trip just for that If you want to shop make sure you get to the fair early because there is so much to see.

Because of the massive crowds I was unable to take photos of the awesome kids rides after staying in the park for 5 hours.

One of the most useful things on the midway were the many benches and picnic tables that people could sit at and watch the kids on the rides. There could have been a few more but overall they served the purpose.

Because of the high cost of $15.00 at the gate I chose not to make another trip back this week I suggest maybe a $2.00 gate fee on thursdays also so the crowds are not overwelming.

Although they offer a free second day visit if you go on the opening day, not everyone can afford the $15.00

Will be also posting photos from the fair here.

The South Florida Fair is well worth making plans to go there if you are...

Came here for the RV show and the home show in one day. It was our first time at this location. They made the parking very easy at the RV show. There was a clear sign and then there were people directing you to the exact spot where they want you. Very nice! I thought the RV show was pretty good. I was a bit confused with the layout, but my husband seemed to be okay with it and he navigated around. I would've appreciated more options for the food services, but all in all it was a good show. Thought $10 was a bit much for the amount of RVs there though.

We found free tickets to the home show online so we popped over there after the RV show. The entrance to the parking lot was easy to find, but there were no signs telling us where to go in for the home show. They had a gun show and a home show and the only saw signs pointing to a door for the gun show, which left us wondering where to go for the home show. We decided to just Go left to the door where we saw some people coming out and do we got lucky. The home show was not very exciting for us although we typically love home shows. I felt like shark bait. I literally didn't want to make contact with anyone because if you did you'd be staying there for 10 minutes hearing their pitch and this is even after you tell them you live somewhere far away, which we do. Some of them we're just over the top aggressive. We really wanted to look at things closer, but both my husband and I decided to just cut out and leave because we just did not want to deal with the sales people. It wasn't worth it. Also, We were a bit disappointed that it seemed like there were multiples of certain things and not a...
